Whoever it is, great self-sacrifice. Even if it's FF points, there's the stupid taxes one has to pay!!!

I don't think it is my place to name him but let me say he has copped some heavy criticism around here this year and yet he is one of the best clubmen we have. There are a number of other stories around the club about him doing similar things this year that haven't been mentioned.

He has a huge heart and is a terrific guy. If we can get him some help people might get off his back.

Stevens?

Great gesture.
These are the little things that build team unity which can only be beneficial.

Given that he's copped some heavy criticism I'd say it is either Stevens, Koutoufides, Whitnall, Houlihan, Waite, Walker, Scotland, Lappin, McGrath.

Though, most likely it's Sporn.

I'm going to go ahead and interpret "if we can get him some help" as "we will pick Bryce Gibbs"

yay!

Anyone manage to read the Eye section in yesterday's HUN?

My club's antics on Mad Monday got a mention.

Care to elaborate? -- That's a very vague statement.

Good on Stevens, too. Personally i'm not on the Stevens hate bandwagon.

Nice to hear that he has such rapport with the younger blokes.

Absolutely fantastic and unnecessary gesture.

I don't think there's a "Stevens hate bandwagon" though...

 I'm certainly not on it.

I'm on the "trade him if the right deal comes along" bandwagon though. But I don't hate him. Certainly not.

Maybe he needed one of the young blokes to take the fat chick who was tagging him all weekend. Because he does get the best tagger every week.

Agree ttm...don't like sniping of players ....especially Lappin...who despite an ordinary year has really been quite loyal A NUMBER OF times to the Blues.

I'm sure some "home truths" came out...but in general I don't think the players are lying when they say they are a pretty tight knit group.

Fact is...they're aren't competitors....Senior guys need to lift the juniors to get some success...Juniors need to learn from the seniors asap to get success....the goals are aligned....which is why you won't see any narkiness in this group.

Good on Stevens...FF points or what ever....Frankly I'm impressed he knows who Flint is...

Sorry, I'm a bit lost.

Can anyone fill me in on what the story is involving Stevens, Lappin, etc?

George,

Stevens used his FF points to fly up some of the young kids to Mad Monday in Sydney.....

Lappin....well other than the snipe above (Lappin shame on you) Melv hasn't elaborated...perhaps he is Derryn Hinch?

Something along the lines of.......... Ring Ring, Ring Ring, Hey ______ Its Skinny, why isn't no one looking for me on the field, everyone kicks it to Fev how come im being singled out. Why Why Why, i want to play in the midfield tell Denis to play me there.

Matty Lappin quick to blame the poor efforts of his team mates for his poor season rather than himself.....

As for Barry Mitchel for all i care he can piss of to the Saints, and he can take some with him who jumped on board his bandwagon because they all a bunch of weak sooks. all i have to say is Waitey lead by example on Sunday from what i been told and let those know exactly what he thought of them. Some of our senior players have there own arsed wiped by someone else for them. Imagine having a weekely gamblin allowance because you cant control your own money. Having a family member make sure your eating well and not hitting the booze

rather than that they all had a good time.....
