Good on ya Lance.. play your 200th and see ya later!!!

Best player without the responsibility of playing on a man in the AFL....

I can confirm this... I was in his class in primary school

Did he used to bring his lunch or was he more of a tuck shop boy?

You are an absolute star Lance, there are still some idiots who want you out and all the rest but you are a star with one smart footy brain.

For goodness sake Pagan, play him at Centre Half Forward this week and he will show everyone how to kick 6 goals and get BOG in his 200th.

We are a better side with Lance forward, and when he does venture forward, he usually gets the ball and makes space.

Next Carlton captain.

Congradulations Lance

On Sunday Lance will play his 200 game for the navy blues. Against traditional rivals Collingwood.

He has had a great career at Carlton at time controversial but for most of the time has been great.

Lance will hopefully become Captain next year and can continue to show his leadership on and off the ground. And can be part of the future that gets Carlton back up the Ladder.

On Sunday it will be our last chance to see the Blues in Melbourne. Lets us all get to the ground and cheer on the blues and Lance for his contribution to the club.

P.S Don’t ever trade Lance. He was a Carlton man once he was born and will always be. Lance Whitnall blues for life. :-D :-D :-D

And the most overated Carlton player to ever play 200, this is a reason why we are on the bottom, a unfit player who the club wants as Captain? when they were thinking of trading him just a year ago, no wonder the club is still on the bottom. Could luck anyway on his 200.

Congrat Big Red...hopefully your last 100 games with the club in the coming years will be as exciting as the first 100 games you had with the club....

Great times on the horizon.....

Go Lance,

Well done.... great to see smart "not so athletic" guys being successful.

And for Synbad, Tyrant and co....sorry but can't agree. we are in the crap becuase of a lot of things but not because of Lance....I could start naming (player) names, but I'm just getting over being ill and fear I'll lapse into it again....

Was amazed when they pointed out he was turning 27, amazed again he's playing his 200th. It seems like yesterday you kicked 4 on debut against the Bombers.

Yeah amazed because he looks and plays like he's 37. Get rid of him, would love that, but it wont happen. I'm sick of this club

He might even be worth something now he's a had a slightly above average season. I'd even take a 2nd round pick for the guy. Seriously, because do you honestly think that another club will give up a 1st round pick for Whits?

Well done Red.

Any takers for who will carry Lance off the field after the game without sustaining an injury? :(

Congratulations Lance. Reaching 200 AFL games is a huge achievement.

I hope to see you in the forward line in 2007. FP next to Fevola.

Having a great year, but will never be the young 17 yo that smashed Wellman in his first game....that's life....you get old.

Enjoy it whilst you can, and hope you're fitter and faster next year  ...and I'll continue to enjoy watching you.

Good luck in the All Australian selections.
