I'd think Bartram would be a fair belt for it. But he's not high profile enough. Needs some flashy hair. If Murphy played all year he would walk it in. It will be interesting because there is no player who is clearly second best. I know which I would rather have in my team though.

I know which two I'd like to have in my team

No 4 for Port this year. We have had only one nomination. Would of liked more at this stage.

Not going to get too many noms when you've only won 2 games for the year...

The fact that Murph shone so brightly for 10 rounds straight in a terrible team - not just flashily coming in and out of play in the forward line - but right in the heat of the action against the competition's best onballers, is pretty special.

Whether he wins it or not, he's already proven that he's got what it takes to play 200 games in the AFL. That'll do me.

if we dont get another for the year, that's ok - our youngsters will be under rated due to the little media coverage. Less focus on them - we'll creep up on sides when they least expect it.

Quite liken it to Brett Ratten in 95. Underated in the media in the midfield, probably part of the reason why we did so well that year.

Yep that's all that counts...the rest is just gravy.

Further to that, if he is eligible, can he win it in consecutive years?

Just checked, he is not eligible as he has played 13 games.
