I had this discussion with Doc today... but I find it interesting that the night of the 2014 draft on here, the average TC poster (armed with little more than YouTube, under 18 stats, and player pen pics) knew we'd stuffed it up. How on earth did the recruiters with their greater array of data and information get it so horribly wrong?

My conscience is clear. I know who was on my list for the 1st two picks

A pity they didn't listen to you then Cazzesman! I bet you'd have taken Talia over Lucas too.

I can not tell a lie. I would have taken Lewis Jetta over them both.

Hope Sheenan and Byrne can get on the park this year and show their talent.
Some of Roger's best work selecting the Irish lads not forgeting Zack.
Apart form the Cripps mega scoop, the Irsh boys will very good assest to the team and all for zilch.

Absolutely love this time of year when we soon find out who wears what number.

I am going to have a stab and go with:

1. Silvagni to take it even though it should be retired for the year
2. Smedts
5. Pick 5 (makes sense)
16. Pickett
22. Palmer
24. Marchbank
25. Pick 25 (makes sense)
26. Pick 48
29. Pick 63
31. ?
33. ?
36. ?
40. Retired for the year
42. Retired for the year
44. ?
45. ?

Good point.
Perhaps he should have specialised in Guinness flavoured footballers because this appears his only speciality.

IIRC we have to promote Byrne and Sheehan having served their maximum years as rookies.
They haven't been delisted and AFAIK they haven't been promoted to the primary list.

They are in no mans land and can't be rookies...unless Carlton sort special consideration from the AL to keep them as rookies for one more year.

Good kick but his real lack of any leg speed soon found him out. It was always the Biggest ? mark with him.

I suspect Jack keeps No.2.
And then the next Silvagni gets no.1...?

In terms of cursed numbers, that list appears to be growing by the year.
Hopefully, it starts going the other way.
Then maybe, we'll start to have some team success???

Although Jack was on the Marngrook show and said he'd been chatting with Andrew Walker about the No. 1 guersney - wouldn't surprise me if he did inherit it.

Can somebody list, as of 26/10/16, how many vacancies there are on our list (including rookies)?

Are our shortages in the midfield, forward and ruck?

Am I correct in thinking that the club will select a DFA in the national draft (plus the preseason draft)?

Chris Dawes has been delisted and is keen to play on. At 28, is he worth picking up as a tall and strong forward/ruck? He is a more accurate kick then Levi and would cost little. People's thoughts?
