Oh, and the three teams that ARE above us on inside 50s?

No surprise here: Port Adelaide, Brisbane, Richmond.

Yep- Places ONE, TWO & THREE on this year's ladder!

Our coaches should be taken out somewhere and SHOT.

One of the issues with COVID, not being able to train with more than 8 at a time. The issue is ongoing, a disconnect between our mids and forwards, something Teague talks about alot. Training with just 8 at a time didn't allow us to work on that at all, especially with fewer sessions. Certainly favored sides with well-entrenched, instinctive game styles.

Another thing that didn't help was, to the end of the GWS game, the 7 previous 2nd halfs had produced a score of 13.42! Kicking straight would've helped that goals from inside 50 percentage.

Wow, great observation Jim!
Hadn't noticed that.

Sigh...
another coach needed?
Is there an actual 'goal-kicking' coach?

So Teague didn't have a phone?
No Zoom or WhatsApp?
He could've read TC for that matter.
He could have rung half the posters on here for advice.

Here's how to talk to your forward and midfield line coaches when you can't train together.

"Tell the freaking forwards to leave someone at home and tell the freaking mids to carry the footy another thirty metres and not to bomb it long from the wing to the 45 metre mark. Is that too hard to understand?"

I do agree to an extent, but considering they have had multiple new inclusions, how did a side like StKilda excel with such restrictions?

Effing Brilliant my funny mexican-hat wearin' friend!

Funny how we're all still bleeding here in the post-Adelaide game thread...

What are the [REDACTED] chances any of your suggestions are 'trialled' today?

Y'know - "better late than never"

I'll be going so I'll do a post-match wide-viewing-angle report on what transpired.

I won't be holding my breath.

(and not coz of covid - Qld, mask-free, livin' the dream!!!)

Coz, they've got an experienced half-decent ex-Carlton coach

whilst....

we have one still with 'training wheels' on.
