We couldn't compete with his cameo role on South Park.

I had this discussion with Doc today... but I find it interesting that the night of the 2014 draft on here, the average TC poster (armed with little more than YouTube, under 18 stats, and player pen pics) knew we'd stuffed it up. How on earth did the recruiters with their greater array of data and information get it so horribly wrong?

And yet they are still employed as recruitment consultants within the industry...

Were Hughes and Rodgers so inept? or was there too much interference from the amateur hour list committee comprising everyone at CFC who thumped their chest hard or long enough?

fancy having a CEO actively involved in list management... only at CFC :donk:

How were our 2014 picks so well known? Even the goats greeting the tourist ferries in Symi harbour knew we were taking Boekhorst & DVR with our main picks ... It even allowed that used car salesman Dodoro to taunt us by taking Langford before selecting the Hird acolyte Laverde ...

My gripe is that Gleeson has never been held accountable for this decade long debacle ... and as a football director the buck should've stopped with him

So far we have lost 6 players from primary list, Smith, Dick, Foster, Jamison, 1AW and Tuohy

Vs

Possible 10 inclusions being 4 new players Marchbank, Palmer, Pickett and Smedt plus picks 5, 25, 48, 63, 66 & 70

So that is possibly another 4 delistings without any rookie upgrades.

Who goes?

Tutt, Whiley, DVR & Everitt.

Agree ABNS, Not sure I can see anything different. Also add rookies Gowers and Sheehan (he has to be elevated? Can't see it)
Must say that the 66 game rebuild that many were poo pooing is very much on track. Potential wise, there's plenty. If I was a young coach or a discredited CEO trying to prove something, I couldn't have asked for a better set up so far.

Oooooh, so close! Galluci for Sheehan...anyway Galluci may be re-rookied... Maybe he just didn't show the reasons we rookied him in the three and a half minutes he played 8-)

Just like i said in another list cloggers thread...

Get rid of all these VFL players, FRINGE players and blokes that have been on the list for 3-6 years and done nothing...
You don't need them coz it's about winning flags...
No use finishing 6-12 every year just coz you want to be seen to be competitive....
We are not Richmond....
Go and draft young kids until you find the gems....

I would rather use pick 40++ on kids instead of keeping list cloggers like Tutt , Whiley etc....

28 players seems a hell of a lot. The thing that concerns me the most is the majority of that 28 were playing in the Northern Blues. Most of the players that were turning out for Carlton getting flogged each week are still at the club

A pity they didn't listen to you then Cazzesman! I bet you'd have taken Talia over Lucas too.

He is one of the worst players to ever have pulled on a CFC guernsey. Has never done a thing ever for this club.

You're spot on with this one Mosquito. How on earth Gleeson is still there is an absolute indictment on this club.
