I like Kennedy. Agree he is limited with his pace, but he is a great back up midfielder if either of Setters or Cripps arent playing. He was probably in our best 5 on the ground 3 or 4 times this year. He can play.

We don't have a mobile 3rd tall, which SOS is, and he works hard

Polson & Moore def outs for me. And probably MacCreadie if we have to. That would leave 6 spare spots on the list. 3 draft picks and 1-2 trades with 1-2 spots for list shrinkage

This sounds about the way I'm seeing it too, except Macreadie.

But none of them go to church with him.
Not even when they don't play Sundays.

Message to Nick Austin.

Get Saad.

Find a way to get a first round pick in, and get Kelly/Merrett and if you can, get Viney.

Then I can say with conviction, we are knocking on the door to The Big Dance.

We are not that far off. We need the pieces to make it all click.

Can someone please tell me why B.silvagni was removed? I have never seen him play and he never played a game for our Club....

What was his problem? He looked like a fine footballer and with Potential. Why wasn't he given a chance like all the others? was it skill? development? commitment?

I think they read eighty seven of Keogh's posts.

These two sentences don’t really align.

I’ve only seen him a couple of times; so there are plenty better placed than me to make judgement, but I thought he looked ok. Some potential there as a lockdown defender, but with list sizes shrinking and a general commitment to keeping our core group of higher draft picks together, someone had to be squeezed out. He’s a tad unlucky, but he isn’t the first late draft pick to only get 2 years to show his worth, and he won’t be the last.

Last time a Williams came to Carlton from Sydney, Carlton won a flag.

Club confident on Saad.

Club also pursuing Lonie again.

Where do I sign?

This season's Trades look promising.
May even make up for last 3 years missing our targets.

Still on the horizon:

Witherden (HB playing finals, so wont hear boo there)
Graham (featured in OTC for his 1%ers)

and if true, with our 2020 and 2021 first round picks in hand ... we are still in the market for that other prized mid

Excuse my ignorance, but who is Lonie and what position does he play in?

I’d be happy with one winning and one losing grand final in the next few years as a start.

Get Saad

Saints, Carlton, Richmond.

Can see the pitch from Tigers:

A First in AFL: Houli and Saad the 2 HBF's ( both being Muslim)

Come on Austin ... get Saad ... Saads are a Carlton family.
Don't do a repeat like SOS that bites us in the bum.
Get him!!!!

According to the Age today Williams is set to come to us. Seems he is asking for at least $850,000 a season and at least a five year contract; could be six/seven. A contract of that length makes me nervous, he's just turned 26yo, played over 100 games. I trust there will be triggers based on games played/performance levels.
