as the bone heads who booed Tuohy, Henderson etc are getting ready to boo Owies next time we play West Coast.

I believe it was Voss who pursued the Fantasia deal most vigorously (according to media reporting).

I can’t get my head around the Bf poster who predicted the deal would be done on Tuesday! Why not Monday? Or Wednesday? Seriously good mail but I’d love to know why Tuesday??

What's their mail on Kemp.

And I must say, I'm glad we are not leaving our big deals until the last minute anymore......it gives us options like Kemp etc.

I thought his salary made that one a non-starter, but even if it doesn't, please God NO.

Ben Silvagni bagging the club for not trading for Dan Houston and giving up 2, 1st rounders.

Via Twitter/X.

I am starting to think we get rid of all the silvagnis from our club.

Now SOS is going after Kemp ? He is a very angry person isnt he.

Cant believe he is trying to raid his sons and fathers club. Remember he tried to get Weitering too.

I am over the Silvagni drama.

Ben is acting just like his father. Full of anger and hate.

We should listen to what they have to offer. Knowing SOS its a silly lowball offer. But imagine turning Kemp into Houston on the last day of trading. You would bite SOS's hand off.

So we’ve effectively given pick 12 plus next years first and second picks and Owies for pick 3. That’s a hell of a lot to pay for one kid.

Austin really putting his neck on the line here. Get this wrong and it could set the club back a long way

Yikes. When you put it like that, we really have paid a bit for this

Then again West coast supporters seem pissed off, so that's encouraging

Yeah, but there part in it has nothing to do with the two picks we gave up to get pick 14

I don't think Houston or Trac are financially viable.

There is no way Kemp turns into Houston. But if StKilda’s #32 is on the table for Kemp I would take it and keep Kennedy.

#3, #32 and B.Camporeale would be a nice draft. With one spot open for a DFA or supplemental (DGB? McMahon?).

Rookie L.Camporeale and J.Carroll. Delist S.Durdin.

So the overall outcome might be something like….

Primary List:
Out - Carroll, Cunningham, Kemp, Marchbank, Martin, Owies.
In - #3, #32, Ben C, Haynes, DGB, Boyd.

Rookie Lists:
Out - Akuei, Boyd, S.Durdin, Mirkov
In - Lucas C, J.Carroll, Duffy, rookie draft #12.

Yep.

I understand Ben is disappointed as Houston is a good family friend. Plus he wanted to come to us but Austin is looking to protect our future. Unlike Ben's old man who is more interested in his own legacy.

Yep. Now he deleted the tweet. After people including myself gave him a piece of our minds.

Good Post Bluevain. Someone with a level head. I dont get SOS. Was one of my favs growing up. But he thought he was bigger than the club always sooking for one reason or another.

Its a wonder he was welcome back to the club after dobbing on us with the salary cap scandal.

He had some good pics and some not so good. We needed to move on. And now he is angry as anything.

Even going after our players as a deliberate move.

He never looks happy this guy. Would ruin his sons and fathers clubs chances by trying to sabotage us.

I will bet 80% he will bid on the Camporeale twins out of spite. Lets hope they trade their second rounder as that is what they will do.

If he happens to bid in the 1st round call his bluff and let him have Ben - that will fix him.

This !! 100% And what do they expect us to do if Port wanted the earth for him. Just give up everything. 2, 1sts for a half back. Very good player but you can find this type of player. And we have a few young ones.
