TDK can still do ruck when Pitto goes to bench and Harry can be stay at home forward

Play TDK ruck and play Lemmey forward.

TDK is on the verge of being the best ruckman in the league and Pitto is barely AFL standard. Don’t create a second problem to fix the first one

Lemmey isnt currently VFL standard let alone AFL

I’d go McKay, Kemp and Moir as the three marking targets when Charlie is unavailable.

Don’t mind that actually.

If Young plays back along with Weiters and Gov you could also throw JSOS forward again too

Pitto actually grabbeda couple of decent marks in 2024, forget if the good marks were defensive, transition/wing or offensive. but that he grabbed them in traffic shocked me. maybe it was a focus area for him in the '24 pre-season and H&A season. He's never going to mobile enough to be a Tim English type of threat up forward though.

I don't mind Harry having a run in ruck if it helps make us less predictable for oppositions to put together a game plan to shut us done or to get Harry more into the game if he's begin double-defended by two talls. The rise of TDK as the ultimate is like that of a big wave, slow, powerful, inevitable. Have to admit I never saw he had that potential, I thought he was too slight to be a Justin Madden or Mathew Allen and too unco to be a Kruz type of tractor. Happy to admit i was very wrong, and the old adage of taller players often taking longer to show their peak physical and tactical capability is true as ever.

Pitto wouldn't play forward he would rotate to bench. His clearances average was 2nd to Cripps last year. Average 6 more hit outs than TDK and was 4th Average for contested possession.

Did Lemmey actually kick more than 2 goals in game

If Curnow is out for some time playing TDK forward and having run in the ruck might see him play out 20 plus games.

Knee injury to Smith. TBA. Club hopeful it’s not too bad.

Ankle injury to Durdin too apparently.

It was a willing contest particularly in the second half, with Lachie Cowan and Adam Saad both receiving corks, Nick Haynes cramping and Jagga Smith taken from the ground as a precaution.

Unfortunately for the Blues, Corey Durdin - who entered the fray to start the second half along with Cooper Lord - sustained an ankle injury in the opening minutes of his time on the ground.

Scans have confirmed Carlton’s top draftee Jagga Smith has torn his ACL.

Shocking setback for the teenager @7NewsMelbourne

Assistant coach Tim Clarke was confident Smith was not badly hurt and Smith did some post-game run throughs.

“He just got a knock to his knee late in the game. We kept him off as a precaution, nothing too serious,” Clarke said.
