hoping we build 4-5 % points today and the swans slam lions. but it's at the gabba, so probably not.

brisbane looming large, it'd be great to be a game and a half ahead of them in 2nd. road trips to scg or gabba in first round would be stuff of mares for us.

Interesting couple of games coming up, Sydney playing Bears then Mutts... Swans win both and we have the opportunity to open up a bit of breathing space to the main threats, Swans lose both and the minor premiership is in play.

Just win today and Friday, put the pressure back on them, whoever they are.

Kemp, Martin and Pittonet all playing for the VFL, seems like no one is being held over, unless perhaps one of them only plays half a game.

The nature of the role probably sees Martin as the contingency, coming in as the sub if required.

Mind you, we could just as easily plead our case to bring Binns in given the way he’s going today.

Lions have a draw. It’s irrelevant what margin it is.

Great weekend so far. Twos won by 15 goals. Filth and scum both got beat. Pork Barrels got beat up on their taxpayer funded tip, Raiders won by 2 points, just got a 5 leg multi up with a golden point field goal.

Just waiting for The Fuckening to happen in this one. Do we still have the worry room thread?

We are for all intensive purposes (sic) in 4th place coming into this game, time to take care of business. Concerns about our defence but an improved midfield in terms of balance and accountability should nullify that. Big games needed from Saad, Kennedy and Newman with our two best D50 distributors out. Excited to see what Motlop can bring.

We have a game of footy on
This is going to be a huge test for TDak against a big ruckman Xerri.
He’s not playing sore so let’s hope and see he has learned to beat a big boy.
Xerri is not Grundy Darcy Cox or Gawn but he’s big
Eating xerri will do a world of good for TDK
More important is the 4 points and Carlton finding their mojo

Motlop has to show FP is his position too
