If we are playing to win, I don’t reckon McGovern goes forward.
He has been instrumental in our resurgence from his role in the backline. And he has never proved to be a good forward.
However, if we are taking the ‘free hit’ approach, then maybe it’s worth a try and maybe I’ll be proved wrong and we’ll have options going forward.

I agree re keeping him back.

Ideally it would bucket down and we can go small in the forward line.

Also, Jack M and DC on light duties - not training with the main group.

Michael Voss has confirmed Patrick Cripps is 'right to go' for Carlton & has done enough to play tomorrow night vs Collingwood.

Patrick Cripps was not present as Carlton completed their final session this morning, Adam Cerra was moving well but Cripps was only part of the team meeting indoors. Michael Voss' presser shortly.

I assume we are now going with the Two big rucks. Pittonet ready and Jack out

So:

Cripps, Cerra, Martin, Pittonet, Owies are in

Walsh, Silvagni + 3 (and the sub) are out.

My guess would be Young, Honey, Ed and Cowan/Dow go out.

Maybe Cuningham is rested if doing light duties at training.

It's funny how last week we didn't believe our players were injured and that our match committee was being arrogant, and this week we don't believe the same players are going to be fit to play and cursing injuries.

I would say managing loads with Martin, Cunningham (great to see) and Cripps just getting him cherry ripe. :)

I still suspect a late change.

If Cripps, Cerra, Martin all play and we don’t have any unexpected outs then we might have a game on our hands. Collingwood are top of the ladder for a reason but they’re not unbeatable

Yep. We'd be Kennedy silvagni walsh MacKay short of our best. Far from ideal but if we keep our tackle count up this game is winnable

We need the win much more than they do

Gee it'd be some sort of game with Walsh, SOS, Kennedy and McKay in. Considering our form as a club and in particular the recent form of the first two.

We're such a c*cktease, really.

Just imagine if we do actually win this game. The hype will be unreal
