Better last 10 minutes but to give up a 7 goal to 0 start is completely pathetic. Against a team below us on the ladder. Not much wiggle room for the second half but somehow in with a chance.

I’m not sure what we’re doing behind the ball. The amount of times we’ve had the ball locked in our 50 and then all of sudden Sydney hack it forward and we end up with a one on one on our half back line. What is our loose man behind the ball doing? Happened last quarter vs GWS too. Do something about it Teague

We gave them a 3 goal start in the 1st
We gave them another 4 goal start in the 2nd.
Makes it 7

The rain comes
We get 4 goals in a row
They're in front by 3 goals at half time.

Moral to the story
We gave them a start and they're in front for it.

Plenty of positives
More negatives
Learning a lot about the players

3rd week in a row we are playing for finals

The swans kids are tiring, hence those 4 goals were against

SPS has been really good tonight

Really? Been okay last 5 mins but before that was putrid. Could've smashed the cauliflower when he played that 8m centering pass to Setters which was always going to be a turnover because all the Swans players knew it wouldn't be paid.

We're so much better in the rain because we stop the chippy chappy crappy and just hack it in there before they get their 5 spare defenders in place. Volleying it like Stevie Gerrard in the 2006 FA Cup final!

Also very Carlton. Out of no-where, when behind, we can suddenly turn it on. Where the @#$%&! hell is this all the time!

From one extreme to the other.
Teague actually made a change.
Cripps forward and staying deeper.
Not so much up and back
Now put SPS in the middle, he is getting a few touches and is a sure handler in the wet.

I think SPS is the extra he’s brought up to the stoppages ? Has he been starting in the middle?

Well we don’t play a static opposition.

But yes we do concede too many big runs of goals.

So a mate txt'd me and I switched back on.

Is it the same 18 players out there the last 15 minutes, or new players?

If it's the same players..... as I said in the what went wrong thread..... it's all between the @#$%&! ears.

Our most important recruit in the off-season is a club psychologist.

Would you have backed Cripps or McKay to kick the goal with a drop punt?

You could have given me 100-1 odds and I wouldn't have wagered more than a dollar.

Horrible effort up forward first quarter and a half. It’s why we lose very week and have the scoring streak against us.

Need to slow it down and look for a short leads when the numbers are back. It doesn’t work for us bombing to numbers.

Docherty seems to also be playing a long way up the field

I think so, booted that one forward out of the middle that started it all.

I hope the boys believe and lift and continue to lift coz the swans kids are hard to crush

They want to beat us.

They're getting outside the patch in 2s and 3s. They come together where the ball is...only because we are not holding onto first option. Hands.

Now it's wet.
Martin SPS Fish This is where they can shine

Good condition for an Owies story in the papers tomorrow.

We have the weight to grind them down.
Have to go harder for longer.
Otherwise they will be chasing butt
