should be a great clash though... two teams that do all the little things modern sides do and two sides who have that hard mental edge.

myself... this is the first time in years i havent been confident in playing richmond....i reckon by the time this game is over... ill be watching re runs of the richmond final from last year... and joining some of you in the pleasures of that game.

but there is this small part of me that keeps nudging me and winking ..."its richmond!"

Out Warnock. Serious?

Did you watch last weeks game? Once he went off and Kruezer went in the ruck, we were getting smashed in the middle.

Unless he is injured he stays, would rather kick Kruezer out than Warnock.

In: White (if fully fit)
Out: Watson.

Would give Kreuzer one more week to show his intent- he plays well against Richmond normally.

Watson wasn't to blame for all of those goals, so it isn't about finding a scapegoat. He just is a bit slow and lacks urgency for me at this stage (or shift him to the forward line).

Would consider dropping McLean as any non-physical contribution in unforgiveable, especially after Carlton's great physicality in the first half.

McLean is borderline in my opinion.

possible out: McLean
possible in: Graham - why? he has done his dues in the 2s.

out: walker (for ridiculous suspension for basically getting that Port clown off his back he had to do what he did and there was no force in his push off)
in: scotland

but this is all based on not seeing the Northern Blues match, so really all of this could be completely wrong. Just win whoever you have in.

5 day break from the Northern Blues practice match, only one not playing was Buckley. There will only be one change

IN- Buckley
OUT- Walker (susp)

Well at least that gives the Blues some speed.

Will be an interesting match.

Is he fit?

Decent change if he's 100%

McInnes needs a little run in the 2nds to find his feet again i reckon.

I would drop Watson and probably forget about him, and bring in Casboult and put Hendo down back.

Yaz needs to play forward with Jeffy as well.

Would be tempted to drop Kreuzer and bring in Army if he is fit.

I would give Robbo the game this week and if his disposal is still as bad as last week, banish him to Northern

Robbo goes in at 100%

In my opinion (and at the end of the day it is all opinion as the coach has the final say) you can't get rid of one of the few players who has intensity in their attack on the ball and the opposition.

Give me a few dud disposals from Robbo over someone like McLean who shirks the issue, is one-speed, avoids tackles, and is more suited to soccer going by what he did on the weekend.

McLean has been playing football since 2004. This means it is his 11th year of football and he has never been elite. He is lucky he has lasted in the system this long. I hope he makes the most of this year for his sake.

What's up[ with Army?
is he injured, unfit, or MM just doesn't like him?

This one will be tough,I'm not overly confident on this one . We have 3 quality players out and at least 3 or 4 good players underdone too.
It will be rough for at least another 3 or 4 games . We need brilliance and spark from somewhere.
Go Blues

Get ready for a solid 1st half effort followed by a last quarter fadeout and more excuses after this game. Richmond by under 42 points. Its not going to get any better.

Yep, pretty sure that'll be it.

10 break between Richmond and Essendon* games. Think a few players will get one last chance this week.

..not sure about knockers being out, but the idea that we only got smashed in the middle when krooz was in the ruck is total Crapola.. ..firstly, knockers rucked as prime ruck, meaning he rucked most of the game.. ..and we got smashed in the middle for half of it, think of fourth quarter as an example, so I don't understand how krooz gets blamed for drop in middle when knockers was in there for much more of it.. ..secondly lobbe was terrible in their ruck, 28hitouts at 11%adv is three taps to advantage max, krooz with much less time in ruck had much more impact for %adv, but he can't lift our lazy mids..

Out Walker , Watson
In Buckley , Graham

Get the balance right and get some run into the team.

I think we will lose. I reckon we will lose by more if Casboult plays.
