In 2015, at least, ground availability will be impacted by the Cricket World Cup.

Swann says its locked in, and I was listening to the radio when he said it.

if he has made that statement, and as it appears it couldn't be further from the truth with every club and sundry now trying to get in on the action, surely his credibility is shot (if it wasn't already?)

I got nothing against Swann, but that is poor form for the CEO to go with something like that, and it turns out to be rubbish!!

Did he say it was locked in as a game happening or did he say specifically that Carllton were locked in to play the game?

There's a difference, but I didn't hear it so just asking

I am sure that before Swann fully exits or is booted out of the club, he will sign up a few Magpies and perhaps even persuade Stan MAgro or Twiggy Dunne to join the board

Nothing wrong with an Anzac Day eve clash, especially when it falls on a Thursday.
Can't understand why the AFL didn't have a game on tonight considering the other Thursday night trial games.....NFI these people!

Mid week is slightly ridiculous, and if AD falls on a sat, Sun or Mon they play on the eve anyway.

So Dogs and Roos get a Pity blockbuster eh ?

And as compensation for missing out, the genius masterminds at AFL house are going to reinstate our Thursday night Richmond game?

Great result

@AFL The AFL Commission has approved for the scheduling of a match on Good Friday. The Executive will determine if to play on that day next year

Blues tipped to miss out, Dogs vs Roos. What a game.

Blues vs Tigers night prior.
