They played North, Adelaide, Hawthorn and Geelong.

Wouldn't be putting a fortune on us based on form.
3 of those losses were by 70ish, 94 and 24 pts to a side with no bench. Our Swans loss was alot better than their efforts in any of those games by a long way and that's really saying something.

Like the Collingwood game we may well lift alot for it as given they pushed us around last time we now have the size to give it to them back in absolute spades.

Seriously have you seen our personal.
How has it changed from rd4 so we can now say we are a tough unit?
Are you counting on Casbolt and Bell the 20 year olds to come out swinging? :screwy:
We can tackle and pressure but when push comes to shove we are still pussies and will be until we get or grow into a team of tough nuts starting from our senior players and not relying on kids to stand up.

Just picked up a few gems from over at BomberBlitz.

They love to use the word Far*king a lot don't they.

QUOTE(wasaharvsfanasakid @ Aug 14 2012, 06:21 AM)
According to the experts on Tanking Carlscum we won't be selecting Lonergan so as to avoid the wrath of their supporters & their real bad ass team laugh.gif

IMO that'd be the exact reason why Sammy would get a run

Get over it you blue flower - hard / fair tackles are perfectly legal, twisting a defenceless players arm off aren't!!

Our season may or may not be shot, but nothing would be sweeter than to smash these pricks again

QUOTE(Stallion @ Aug 13 2012, 12:35 PM)

LOL. Have they looked around at their games recently, there supporters would have to turn up first.

What did Murphy say after the last game about "can't wait to play them again"?

You got your shot champ.

Tanking Carlscum.

I thought this was injury related....

Bombers fumble and turnover the ball in the dry at Etihad, the rain will only drag us down to their level IMO.

Essendon* aren't that tough. Hawthorn are tough, Essendon* pretend to be but have half a side of soft-c0cks. We went in hot favourites last time, over confident and didn't work hard enough. Same side we blew away 6 months earlier. Essendon* always get us in round 3-4 as they are up and about alot earlier. As usual, they turn to sh1t later in the season. They can't intimidate anyone now.

Yes, I have seen our personnel. You mightn't bit I have. It does helps having Casboult and Bell, one or two can make a huge difference, you should know that if you know anything at all, especially in the right places in the guts of a contest. We are actually better placed now to absorb sides what most sides throw at (Hawthorn maybe not). Don't have to dish it, just asborb it well. The blokes we have in now are actually a bit better in that aspect even if we are unable to actually play as well skill-wise as we were. We matched the Swans well in every aspect of of contested footy even if we were killed in ball use, which, in turn, cost us badly in a 22pts game.

Two sides with motive to win, who stands up to the heat?

my view! Won between the ears. Who is willing to put in the effort. So often our work ethic has been deficient. Does not matter who is on the park if they do not get going from the start we will be smashed. Work as a cohesive unit and maintain simple standards....we are a good chance

Will we let them monster and intimidate us?
Will we let them run that ball down the guts?

If our track record on Kreuz and Henderson is anything to go by, I expect him to play.

Wondering who will make way for Judd? O'Keeffe got some big wraps and made the POTD clip, and Curnow was talked up for his roles on Rich and Black. Bell didn't do his chances any harm. Maybe Tuohy?

RoK looks like he is in judging by this

http://www.carltonfc.com.au/news/newsar ... fault.aspx

When Rhys gets a gig at the MCG on Saturday he’ll know that father Tony, mother Sandra and younger sister Talia will be over from Adelaide and watching on. Rhys last saw them in March “and the last thing they say to me whenever we’ve spoken on the phone is ‘Don’t get injured’.”

“So it’s good to be able to finally play so that they can watch,” he said

Didn't realize Talia was O'Keeffe's younger sister. Has been playing well this year for Adelaide.

Please no warnock. Unless it's to rest Kreuzer for a game.

Kruezer and Levi are enough talls. And I don't want Warnock or Kreuzer getting prolific minutes up front.

Cas has earned his games up front. Neither Warnock or Kreuzer are splitting a pack or taking a grab like Cas is. And we need that more than we need straight kicking, surely?
