In the last 4 weeks we only beat Richmond, WB, Lions and lost to the Swans.
They played North, Adelaide, Hawthorn and Geelong.
Wouldn't be putting a fortune on us based on form.
3 of those losses were by 70ish, 94 and 24 pts to a side with no bench. Our Swans loss was alot better than their efforts in any of those games by a long way and that's really saying something.
Like the Collingwood game we may well lift alot for it as given they pushed us around last time we now have the size to give it to them back in absolute spades.
Seriously have you seen our personal.
How has it changed from rd4 so we can now say we are a tough unit?
Are you counting on Casbolt and Bell the 20 year olds to come out swinging?
We can tackle and pressure but when push comes to shove we are still pussies and will be until we get or grow into a team of tough nuts starting from our senior players and not relying on kids to stand up.
Essendon* aren't that tough. Hawthorn are tough, Essendon* pretend to be but have half a side of soft-c0cks. We went in hot favourites last time, over confident and didn't work hard enough. Same side we blew away 6 months earlier. Essendon* always get us in round 3-4 as they are up and about alot earlier. As usual, they turn to sh1t later in the season. They can't intimidate anyone now.
Yes, I have seen our personnel. You mightn't bit I have. It does helps having Casboult and Bell, one or two can make a huge difference, you should know that if you know anything at all, especially in the right places in the guts of a contest. We are actually better placed now to absorb sides what most sides throw at (Hawthorn maybe not). Don't have to dish it, just asborb it well. The blokes we have in now are actually a bit better in that aspect even if we are unable to actually play as well skill-wise as we were. We matched the Swans well in every aspect of of contested footy even if we were killed in ball use, which, in turn, cost us badly in a 22pts game.
