Are you telling me that limping around the dressing room after the match, heavily iced, is a new type of warm-down? Injured doesn't just mean being on crutches. Whatever you want to call it he is not 100%. Of all the players you want to ask to pull their finger out, it should not be Kreuzer.

This.

Bring in Bower (last chance) he can play forward

No, no he can't. He has proven repeatedly that he cannot play forward. Neither can Jamo for that matter.

I am not against Bower playing, and he should most certainly have played last week, but he is in no way a forward. He is a backman, or maybe a wing.

It's like a choir, where you haven't sorted out the range of all the singers.
Sounds awful , until you get everyone in the right place.
Put Walks forward, and after resting K. to get him right, then use him as he is meant to be used...as 1st ruck.
Gibbs is able to cover for shortages, but he will have a place, where he shines the best.
As soon as possible, let him play there. He seems to think it's midfield, so play him midfield, and trust someone else to do the job he has been doing. At this stage, nothing to lose.

on the couch stating kreuzer has not trained for the last two weeks.
don't tell me he is not injured.
went to the northern game against box hill.
curnow, lucas, collins and mcInnes should all be played this week.
russell and bower were not good enough for a recall.
so imo,
duigan jamison mcInnes
touhy watson scotland
yarran gibbs simpson
robinson walker collins
betts thornton garlett
warnock judd carrazzo
curnow armfield lucas mclean

kreuzer, needs a rest, running on one leg.
hampson, joseph and ellard, not good enough
bootsma, needs to eat about 500 big mac meals, will be a good player just not ready.
maybe next week mitchell may get a game. :thanks:

Time to put Kreuzer in cotton wool.
He's a prime investment and we treating him like the village donkey. Piling more and more supplies on his back.
I have no faith in our medical staff who are draining his knee on weekly basis because they believe there will be no long term damage. That sounds as logical as Sticks remaining President for the next decade.

He hasnt been injured - trained the house down again.

Kreuzer, Jamo, Simmo, Gibbs, Walker and a couple of others need to pull their finger out.

I'm

I just wish that we really stand up for the jumper against Collingwood.
This is non negotiable.
We should never lose by 10 goals, or 9, or 8.

Just hurry up and sign Warnock and put him in the gym.
Then we can stop playing 3 ruckmen.
We need his signature.

Sticks sounds like he was demanding Kreuzer amongst others to play for the jumper this Friday.
So maybe Kreuzer isn't injured, but he seems lame to me.
Sounds like Kreuzer is expected to front....unless that's another item that Sticks isn't across.

I like the idea of our best midfielders in the midfield.
I like the idea of a smaller forwardline:TBird, Walker, Garlett, Betts, and one of the ruckmen if need be.
I like to think everyone is going to kill to win this game.

Please no more injuries...got North the week after.

Go Blues.

Jon Ralph is on radio now, he said that Jamison wont play this week. He also said that Kreuzer is struggling with a hip problem not just his knee but will play on Friday.
A couple of changes needed,
In; Thornton, Bower
Out; Bootsma, Jamison

Would like to bring in McInnes but maybe next week, dont want it to be lambs to the slaughter against Collingwood and destroy his confidence.
But having said that the Collingwood young players dont have that probelm, says it all.

Remember Judd's last season at WCE. They knew he was leaving, he couldn't run to save himself but they played him every game.
We inherited a crocked midfielder who still has issues.
We are doing the same to Kreuzer but as far as I am aware, he isnt leaving the club.

WTF is going on???

I Have no faith in the board or Swann to step in, but at least our football manager should stick his nose in and fix this problem.

Dr Larkins view on Kreuze's hips is a little scary

"I mentioned at the time, a long career is unlikely to happen for a person who has this genetic hip condition," Larkins said.

We took a gamble on Kreuzer, fingers crossed it works out and want to hope that the medical advice that playing him at 90% is not going to break him is 100% correct.

Is why the club needs three ruckmen, with 1 a backup? So we don't end up like the saints?

Ratten saying this morning they are adjusting his role and will give him a challenge this week.

So, does that mean we are playing 3 ruck again?

Where will Kruezer line up? CHB?

More Ratten coaching based on saving his backside instead of looking after and developing his players.

FFS, if he is fit play the kid in the RUCK!!!

We inherited a crocked midfielder who won another Brownlow, all our B&F's bar one and an AFLPA MVP just last year an was still our best player on the weekend.

True cimm, but he's lost his explosive pace and his game against WCE just 2 weeks ago would have been his worst at Carlton.
He played well against Hawks who really didn't put the time into him that they did last year because they didn't have to.

That's because, to quote Cimm, he "won another Brownlow, all our B&F's bar one and an AFLPA MVP just last year an was still our best player on the weekend" by himself, without assistance.

Goin by Ratts comments in press conference Kreuz will play but in different role. So I'm guessing he will be playing KPD.... Hopefully not cos it's absurd but ive seen worse from ratts this season and with jamo is in doubt.
Surely if he's fit he'd be in the ruck, if he's not he shouldn't be playing.

In: thornton, mcinnes, Lucas & Collins
Out: kreuzer, boots, garlett & army

Mcinnes. Watson. Duigan.
Scotland. Jamo. Yarran.
Lucas. Carrots. Tuohy.
Simmo. Walker. Gibbs.
Betts. Thornton. Collins.
Warnock. Judd. Robbo.
Hammer. McLean. Joseph. Ellard.

Rather army than joseph but ratts will reward the Cyril job for the next month if he sticks around.
Bower for jamo if injured.
Tuohy & robbo around stoppages to provide grunt.
Hammer & warnock to play majority ruck & pine.
Do not let Lucas be part of sub scenario.
