Very nervous. It is almost easier when you are rubbish and no-one expects anything. This time there is a chance!!!

Am I starting to sound like a Richmond supporter just before round 1?

(you can tell me...)

No, you're not.

Da meedya are sure a fickle beast.

Week 1: Carlton crap preseason, Tigers flying, Blues will get knocked off.
Week 2: Carlton unimpressive win, Lions at home after good win in Melbourne, danger game.
Week 3: Carlton premiership favourites, will knock of Collingwood

Expected Week 4:
If we lose: Carlton still pretenders to the crown, can't win big games etc
If we win: Carlton should win the premiership, will be massive choke if they don't and pressure will be on the coach

The only concern I have against sides like Cwood, Geelong, Hawthorn is our body size. They are much bigger physically and that can wear us down.

If we are allowed space we will beat anyone as we have the speed and improving skill. If it gets down to finals type game thats where i think we are slightly vulnerable.

Be interesting as to how it will pan out but Im confident!

I agree this is a concern and more reason why we need our big bodies fit. Jamieson, Duigan, Walker added to the current team makes a big difference. With all of them up and going, I think we'll be big enough, but we need them to stay fit....

I Am Carlton

I am.....silencing the chant
.....sticking it right up 'em
....losing my voice

I am...singing our song with the crowd as we exit the G
.......perfecting the look of pity/rapturous smile to throw at the b/w's.

I am....giving a silent HA HA HA to Tommi's cousin

I Am....so very happy.

Is it just me or does Gerard Whateley appear to have the same body dimensions as this fine specimen?

Not nervous at all, surprisingly. Probably because I haven’t bought into the us as favourites thing at all, reckon we are being vastly overrated for this game & don’t expect the players & coaching staff to take any notice of it.

Pretty confident about the midfield but concerned about their talls – our 2 opponents so far have been rubbish in this area but tmrw it’s Cloke Dawes Reid Jolly.

Won’t be shattered if we lose as long as we contest & tackle all night & don’t concede a blowout 10 min at some stage. Finals are still 20 weeks away.

Mark Robinson cracks me up - building us up as premiership favourites just so everyone can tear into us if we don't win the flag - so obvious what he's doing
