He's on the permanent injury list I presume.

There are accuracy and completeness issues on the injury list!
I'd hate to audit the Club's books!

Ellard's another one who's clearly been injured for a while, but doesn't merit a mention on these lists. Fairly pointless giving an incomplete injury list (as they've been doing all pre-season). Might as well not give it at all.

I didn't think Ellard was injured and has been playing with Northern, but I could be wrong. If not, it's a hard team to break into at the moment with the only likely candidate for him to replace would be Curnow or Lucas you would think, and he'd also be in competition with Collins.

Ellard was injured (for roughly 3 weeks) but played in the intra-club match last Thursday

Perhaps they are not bothering mentioning Mitchell because he is on the LTIL; a technicality which saves the typists a few seconds, in other words.

We are as injury free as I can remember.

Luke Mitchell
Shoulder
6-8 weeks

Mitchell is now listed after a couple of complaints/queries were put forth.
Word is that he is progressing well.

Thanks Harker.

Shouldn't need to be updated due to supporter complaints/queries. Obviously the club is fully aware of who's actually injured and who's not. Hard to see what possible reason there could be for not listing them all. Either reeks of delegated incompetence, which doesn't put the club in a good light. Or more likely, this is more of the absolutely absurd 'getting a tactical advantage'. I mean do they really think other clubs don't know who/what our injuries are? The only 'tactical advantage' they're getting is over their own supporter base. Either way, I know it's only a small thing, but it reeks of gross stupidity.

I'm happy to stand corrected but I just can't see the advantage for withholding details or fudging of the injury list.
Surely we're all above that now.

I hope that someone at the CFC does have a look at our boards every now and then and take aborad some of our gripes.
I know it's only a small thing, but a leading operation will have everything aspect of the business fine tuned.
The communications aspect of the CFC has some way to go.

Official club twitter just told me to look at the injury list, where they've just put him back on as 6-8 weeks. Edited Rexy's post to reflect that.

I only think the lists are submitted for public circulation. The only ones the AFL cares about are the team sheets, LTIs and rookie elevations.

I don't complain, I just act facetiously. :sly:

I think most clubs are into playing silly-buggers.

Good to see the Carlton doctors push Luke Ball back on the ground after his knee injury. :)
