Warnock would have to be the highest paid player in the VFL. 1.6M over 3 years - hopefully we get some return soon.

Lucas out :screwy:

Only good thing is that he misses a chance to injur himself on the Sandpit. Great to see Hammer and Grigga get a run........time to grab their chance.

I hope you are way out with those figures Clayman. I wonder how much Sauce is on? And I shudder to think what Mclean's getting paid. Let's hope both contracts were heavily performance based. I'd hate to think we are paying guys $1000s for playing the Ants.

I'm pretty sure I read that 206 got 4 years.

Would've preferred Aussie to get back in the swing of things than keep Tbird.
Happy for Grigga & Hammer to finally get their chances.

Very happy with the ins. Surprised about Lucas though. Need his class and skills.

Hope we don't play the usual suspects into form:

Sherman, McGrath, Black, Johnstone & Rich

Great to see Hampson getting a go. I think he is going to be a big part of of premiership future. Murphy being back is always a huge plus. Hopefully Grigg can return to his best form which would give us some nice midfield depth.

I know I am definitely in the minority, but I am disappointed that Ellard didn't get a go. Not even an emergency. :? Stellar season so far and working really hard but still no selection. I was wondering if any of the posters who are more in the know than posters like me knew how Ellard is perceived by the club. Does his named already have a line through it (barring mass injuries) and he won't get a go? Or is he actually under real consideration?

we have to be patient with Lucas. He will be a very classy player but it's his first year and we should expect to see him in and out of the team.

McGrath and Black are bigger ins than Fev is an out.

Am I the only one surprised with the Hadley ommission?

We need to win and win well. This opportunity must not be missed. They are decimated.

I'm surprised by the Hadley omission. Especially given the publicity around the lack of support Judd receives in terms of strength in the middle.

That's probably the reason though. Hadley's not been doing his job.

Agreed.

His numbers were ok but needed to provide more presence, IMO.

Really do not get why they dropped Lucas. He was about the only player that supported Judd against the Dockers and I think that it is a real shame that he will miss.

Maybe Lucas in for a late change. I am not convinced the club will risk Judd if he is a bit wonky on his ankle. The surface could be a worry for an ankle that has been rolled only 10days before.

We are missing a lot of players. On paper both teams look even.
