Robinson didn't deserve the recall from just about all reports. We can only use him in midfield, which means we'll be dropping back someone like Johnson or Joseph. There were better options.

Get the feeling Ratts and Co saw something pre season in Robo that they really liked and want to give him every opportunity for him to shine through.

Maybe off half back/wing being a direct swap with lucas.

He doesn't have the same polish to play this role IMO - I think he's better suited to the HFF where he can create some physical havoc and create a loose ball.

Agreed.

I think this will be a fairly physical game. Hawks do have a lot of rough and tough types through the midfield. Robbo will come in handy in this sense. A bit of recklessness could help

Give the kid a chance FFS. You have had it in for him since day one. I notice you were one of the strong critics of the club's decision to trade Fev and it seems you still haven't been able to get over it, taking your frustration with the decision out on Lachie. Give it a rest.

jamo on roughead...check.

but what about buddy ?

1. thornton - still can't get the nightmares of thornton v brown out of my head ....please don't let buddy join my sleepless nights!!!!

2. white - not fair to anyone...white, the rest of the team or supporters...can only lead to one logical conclusion if this match up occurs....see carl vs coll...where white was moved to the forward line at half time....which brings us to....

3. hendo - apparently had a go in his lions day but would prefer not to see it....

4. any other ideas - the irishman...maybe even gibbs or russ ????

someone help...because I fear buddy might have a picnic on sunday !

You are probably right but i like the idea of sticking to the winning formula. Swapping one part of the machine out with a new part.

I will leave it to the MC. They are the experts.

It'll probably be Billy Bob on Buddy. As long as the ball isn't coming in too easily he should do ok. Bowser would have been the obvious choice.

I'd play Carrots on Mitchell. He did an outstanding job in the Aints game, and got plenty of footy himself

The only reason we can lose this is lack of intensity from our midfield and forwards. Otherwise we win by 6-7 goals.

The hawks lack pace and physically have dropped off after the local pharmacy closed down.

- Henderson on Roughhead (apparently did well on him when playing for Brisbane)
- Jamo on Buddy
- Carazzo on Hodge
- Joseph on Rioli

Might rotate a few against Mitchell.

Who did you want?

Anderson - hopeless

Hadley - even less versatile

Browne - has done not much in the past year

The paper I've got says the Hawks have beaten Richmond (by 3 pts), and Melbourne, and....nup, that's it.

Have faith!
