Bentick has been working on his pace and injury has denied us the chance to see if he has improved. We are desperately looking for another in and under onballer with a strong body to take the pressure off Judd. Hadley Bentick Carrazzo Pfeiffer have all been tried with Bentick the most successful.

Amazon, Carrots is a B&F winner (playing mainly midfield when no Stevens) and 4th last year. You lose me when you say Bentick is "the most successful" at the extracting role.

He may not be Juddy, but IMO Bentick has yet to prove he's a ahead of him.

Carrazzo has to go back into an offensive midfield role to assist Judd.

Gibbs rebounding off half back.

Ando to come in with a 'run with and run off' role. He'll have a crack.

For the time being, couldn't agree more.

Saturday was the first time in about 7 years that I was actually shitty all day due to a result of a football match, and I was absolutely surprised about it.... not even the 100+ thumpings we have had recently has altered my mood, but Friday nights display was just insipid.

It was an embarrassing and humiliating capitulation......I felt ashamed.....and I'm only a supporter.....not a player.

Know exactly what you mean chucky. Same here. I used to be able to brush of those thumpings but yesterday was utter pants.

Having to wear a bombers jumper to work on monday is NOT appealing.

I felt the same chucky. I usually have the radio on all weekend but left it off because I was so pissed off from the game I dodn't want to hear anything about it. I was stewing on it all weekend - just not good enough and utter humiliation.

What a horrible second half to sit through that night. I haven't been that angry and upset at the footy for a LONG time! :banghead:

The jumper is tight, scratchy wool, and old.

On the flipside I've decided to not wear deodourant today, and at least it doesn't have darren bewick's number on the back.

have not gone through and read this whole thread and im still gutted, cant believe we played like that to be honest.
things that shit me is we play to defensive, how many taggers we gonna have , even houla and bannister are tagging in the foward line .
fev dont get me started , i dont blame him for not kicking 10 goals when u have 3 players on u bc they peel off but atleast be less shelfish and create space for ur teammates. i was right in front when fev crunched setantam, flower blind freddy would have left that 1 on 1 contest.
i dont wanna hear we are better then this team anymore bc we are shit, and have about 5 good players at the moment who have to do everything, ratten is a sub par coach with limited tactics and we are essendons bitches.

I have left one game of football early in 10 years before Friday night, and that was at 1/4 time against Adelaide at Optus Oval in about 2000, where you could see more rain and lightning than footy.

I would not waste my time on watching that last quarter once it was evident we did not give a damn. It was almost nicer being at the bottom with no expectations, at least there was the belief it couldnt get worse. These losses hurt more than ever before.

Geez, who'd have thought a Matthew Knights coached team would peel off out of a contest to get the free ball? He used to thrive on that at Richmond, where so many are around the contest, you'd see him as the go-to 20-30metres away after having been in the pack.
