I am shattered, late withdrawal. Just got told I've got an indoor soccer grand final at 3:40...Why on earth we have the final on a sunday when its tuesday league I've no idea. We tried to have it moved to tuesday night but no dice.

Good luck, guys. Hope all goes well and you have a win.

really disappointing, was looking forward to having a run and putting some faces to names.

dees would have won by around 80 points.

we were 21 down at qtr time. 45 down and half time. 55 down at 3/4 time.

last quarter was goal for goal for the first 3 goals each, and then they got a good run on at the end.

thanks to all for making it an enjoyable day.

the trip was worth it just for the pleasant surprise of kicking a goal!

and watching paulie and clint take each other out was also a highlight.

the dees were the fitter, bigger and harder running team and fully deserved the win. they had nubers at the contest all day, felt like thay had 3 extra players at times. just a lot fitter and harder running that us.

i can't beleive i actually ended up quite sunburnt.

jack black BOG for the blues i reckon.

cheers
gez

thanks for the game, guys...

don't think the final scores reflected the contest, and you guys did not give up all day...

some promising younsters in your line-up...

we have never recruited off-site, but since we first played you, we have attracted two new groups of players, and they strutted their stuff today...

hope it does not put you off challenging for "the duke" again later this year...

maybe that ex-afl player could put his hand up ??

congrats to barnesy from your site for a great job organising...

regards,

rollo

Big thanks to Bransey and Rollinson for getting the game going, and well done to the guys that did show up.

Dees to good, alot fitter and faster than us, and the 1st half was dominated by them.
2nd half was alot better we just couldn't get get anything between the sticks, but full credit to the Dees.

Well done to Codemaster aka Danny(?), Fevolution, Barnsey and Chris_Carrazzo and the guy who was wear number 7 playing on the backline. All played great games and kept trying and putting in untill the end. Orangelad, easily one of my fav players, no matter what stage of the game will just kill himself to get the ball.

Really hopeing to get Big Danny G and Chris_Carrazzo rolling together in the guts, that will be some good stuff to watch out for next lot of Forum games.

Once again Dees to good. You guys play the game in really good spirit, one of the more enjoyable play against. Well done.

you were bog for talkingcarlton last sunday...

Been caught up so apologies for not posting earlier.

Thanks to all involved.

The game was played in good spirit, the result we should not be happy with, but it gives us more of an understanding of how important it is to be able support the guys in the middle, we got out run.

Congrats to Rollo and his boys.

Hey Guys, greetings from Jakarta. Was good fun on Sunday, even though the result wasn't what we wanted.

Super sore (sitting for almost 10 hours on a plane on Monday was not conducive to a good recovery) but will be there with bells on for the first game at the end of the year.

Highlights for me:
- Gez's turnover and goal (and the commitment to come down from Canberra)
- Blond Spiky Haired Kid (sorry, names aren't my forte) and his goal from the pocket in the 4th quarter

Also, my sister-in-law took some snaps - how best to load these onto the site? (if anyone can shoot me a PM I'll get them loaded ASAP).

Cheers.

Really don't mean to much, we played Collingwood a few years ago and won by 10 goals. We had a pretty strong side aswell.

I think we are 50/50 as far as things go with SS, I think the last time we played them we got over the line, but then got beat BomberBlitz a few weeks after.

But as you know with these forum games, you could field 2 differnet sides in the space of 3 weeks.
