Sticks declaring he'll be on until 2014 was hard to take. Roos' wife not wanting him to coach us, was even tougher. All the talk of Cloke and now leon Davis, is gut wrenching. Doubts of Malthouse having anything left, and not making his whole appointment into a sideshow about him fills me with dread.

But above everything else, I think looking at the amount of guys on our list who don't give a rats (no pun intended) arse and don't put in every game, or can't put in because they can't kick a football. Having no faith in them, until we have a full cleanout ... that tipped me.

tend to agree, not much to be excited about, seriously considering suspending my AFL Membership.

Cos if Sticks too????
Cool!!!

Bringing back Leon Davis had crossed my mind last week. He was All Australian in his last season. and will be 31 next year. MM loves him.

He's also due for a good Grand Final

Shouldn't that question start with a capital "I"? :smoking:

Looking at our Coaching situation philosophically; I now think that a change could be as good as a holiday..........if that makes any more sense than most of the posts in this thread......

Well. It's tough negotiating 3 million dollar contracts in this brave new world of unlimited interchange.

The main holdups yet to agree on are:

A suitable lunch menu at the cafeteria ... Mick hates too much starch. It clogs his midfield. He's also requesting his orange juice be freshly squeezed, but Sticks is maintaining that Merigold is just as good.

We havent grovelled enough yet. Not to mention, there's still plenty of media mileage left.

The only thing they're trying to agree on is the time to announce. I'm guessing Tuesday next week.

Then the delistings begin.

I'd say unlikely to make delistings prior to trade week.

that's because the wounds were deep and painful.

If you don't learn from history you are doomed to repeat it.

True, however it's getting a bit annoying when the countless obvious differences between then and now are being overlooked in favour of doom and gloom.

Why suspend it?

Holding on shows the AFL you have some interest.

Mine is gone.

The way Carlton handle the next few months will determine if the money goes to them.
