Easy fellow TCers.

I too am a fan of Bolton and the direction Carlton's now heading but the reality is that we're 4 wins from 11 starts.

As an aside, one of the media dip-sh*ts, (BT or Darcy I think), was rabbiting on about how last year Bolton elevated us to 7 wins and this year we're really kicking on with 4 wins already. I think mathematically we're more or less the same.

Yes, but we are playing a lot more kids. We have turned over a heap over senior players, replaced them with teenagers and are playing harder, more consistent footy.

To be honest I wouldn't be too concerned if we were zero wins at this stage. It is the way we are playing that is important. We have a more obvious game plan and far superior structures than when Ratten was coaching and we were playing finals. We are playing tough 2 way footy. We are prone to the odd shocker of a quarter, half, or even whole game (ala port) which is a result of having so many kids in the team. But they will become less and less

Agree, but it also builds belief when they win games.....accelerating the improvement. Best coach we've had since Parko, no argument.

That's how rare they are.

Bolts is already shaping as one of the greats.

I have a feeling he'll be a natural for finals.

We scrutinise the development of our 2015 superdraft constantly.

Bolts is part of that draft as well.

Everything he has said about the playing group includes himself.

He's heavily invested in the culture and it's reflected in the new recruits.

Having SOS and Jack come on board propelled that culture more than we've seen in years.

Bolton's Blues.

Masters of uncomfortable footy.

Yep, we lost our way and identity for far too long.

Judd posted a photo of himself, SoS, Kouta, Braddles, Rowe and Diesel out at dinner last night. Shows that the culture and identity of the place is coming back. Love it.

Seems too high for Bolton to have taken the photo?

Bolton should ban the dribble kick at goal.

It's become a blight on the game.

Respected journalist Mike Sheahan has lauded Carlton coach Brendon Bolton for his ability to improve every player on the Blues list.

They have won their past two games courtesy of gritty victories against Greater Western Sydney and the Gold Coast, with senior players Bryce Gibbs, Matthew Kreuzer and Sam Docherty in fine form.

Saw the interview live. For a young guy Bolts is a natural. Gave nothing away ie deflected everything but at the same time was respectful, non-controversial, and came over as really knowing his stuff.
