Agree with BV and frankie, not sure what the benefit is in announcing now. It can't boost memberships any more than confirmation in a couple of weeks could. Maybe it's got something to do with offering comfort to players/managers etc. Can't be massive unless it's a Friday, obvs. |

But I guess, I like all don't have the luxury of backing anyone else if his appointment is evident. It looks like 'Teague the tank engine' it is going to be. Let's just hope in the off season we don't throw out our youth development and recruiting policy we've had to endure for the last 3 years. That we can attract some key talent to our midfield and our forward game plan gets a bit of work to be more functional and ultimately damaging to win more games. |

That would tell me that the players don't care and he probably can't get the best out of them. I don't expect to see that. But I don't expect a coaching announcement until Mad Monday. |
