I must say I'm with Beano and KB and various others on this. Give Sentanta a break!. In his first game the Blues got flogged and he was on for about ten minutes. In this game he looked lost but he tried really hard and he was placed in an impossible situation by the MC. Coming in with only one VFL game and interuppted prep, and playing as a key forward in Carlton's 2 man forward line. What hope did he have?. Almost the entire forward line was beyond the centre. He had two or three opponents. At present he is a fast lead, if they were going to play him they should have given him support and space to do that. Otherwise play him with the Ants. He has along way to go, he really doesn't know how to use his body. He must be a moving target and that's how the MC need to use him. Maybe a bit futher education as CHB with teh Ants might be good.

I don't know if he'll make it, but he has come a long way, really puts in, and I really would love to see him become a regular senior player. And he has until the end of next season to prove he is on the way to that. Let's give him a go. We are still several years away from being a good side but we are improving slowly. I get as frustrated as anyone, but give Setanta a chance, and if he gets another game soon, let's hope the match committee don't set up as though he's Wayne Carey.

PS Anyone know how Setanta gets on with the other guys. Any sign of players thinking he's getting a bit of favourable treatment particularly with six or so facing delisting at the end of the year. I am not trying to start rumours I just wonder whether he gets a lot of encouragemnet and help from his team mates....
