Welcome aboard, Gez.

You can be our "interstate recruit".

I called North today.

First call: rang a few times then phone died

Second call: got through to receptionist, was transferred to footy department, rang a few times and the phone died

Third call: got through to same receptionist, took my details and details of request (availability of Arden St for social match on December 11) and will call me back.

:?

Might try the Melbourne Uni ground next. I like playing on these old traditional grounds....

.... but I'm still happy with the VP $10 option

Hoping to get a photographer down for the game this time.

Headplant was unable to come due to an unexpected something that came up before the SS game.

Might see if he would like to do it again or we can grab someone else.

I faxed through a "booking enquiry" form for the Melbourne Uni ground, and if they can be bothered they'll call back and give me the details.

No word from North yet.

I'll try Cramer St tomorrow if I get no luck

If you play at Vic Park I can spit on you all as you run out onto the ground - you know, just to make it feel like the real thing. :)

Tried Cramer St......

they've pulled down the goalposts and its exclusively a sub-district ground

so no dice..... but CHECK THIS OUT!!!

http://bullants.footballvic.com.au/?s=insidetheclub

actually, now that I think about it, we'll probably have the same issue (turf wicket etc) with Arden St and Melb. Uni.....

Vic Park is ok because they don't play cricket there

Am I the only one suprised to see that guys name there?

EDIT: Something on that site that was probably more interesting that I skimmed over:

OK we can have Victoria Park! But not until the week after the 11th, the ground is being fixed up a little. So that will be the weekend of the 17th or 18th of December.

There is a cost asssociated of $300 for the ground and $150 if we want the rooms opened up. Remember it will be hot you'll probably wanna have a shower or a cold bath.

So if we ask for say $10 a person that should cover the cost's working on 60 people rolling up. If we can get a BBQ going and a few eskies we can have a great day playing one last time at Vic Park!

This was taken off the Collingwood site. VP will not be ready to use on the 11th. It looks like we are waiting on the all clear for Lexus.

Should this be a success, and a victory, who should Collingwood go after next?

Saints or Bombers?

Also seems like that they think they are a chance to win.
SORRY NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!!!!!!!!!

OMG Tyrants...I was wondering "what the hell are you talking about this time?"

Is it kinda like a trojan horse scenario?
