Oh joy, the Channel Eddie replay of the game is running late ... just so we can see the credits to the 9,871,995th telecast of Star Wars.

Great to see Ratts presenting meals to the players also.

Rats got a new job at meals on wheels has he?
I know its the Wizzer and all that but boy it feels good, no matter that I am thousands of kms away buried deep in snow. What I would have given to have been in the dome tonight! Sounds like everything is really coming together, now lets just hope that Thorny's injury isn't too serious.

Not sure Kevin, but the AFL site doesn't like me watching it, but I watched it on TV anywayz.

T-Bird could miss upto 10 weeks if he needs surgery. Could miss also 4-6 weeks if he doesn't need the surgery.

Great game boyz and see you next Sunday.

No- they said we'd be in the mix to finish between 7-12.

Who cares what they think. The more they under-estimate us the better.

Exactly - none of them thought we'd beat the Eagles either.

We'll finish 5-8 as long as we don't let the Wiz go to our heads.

If they said we are in the mix for between 7th and 12th, then that would be one of the worst home and away performances of a wizard cup winner.

I dont bother listening to those idiots, but they need to know that they arent fooling anyone with their stupid anti Carlton biased predictions - if you can call them that.

If it was any oither team that had just won the wizard cup, a reasonable prediction would take into account how winners of the preaseason go as a rule and have them in the eight, but because it is Carlton, they have us finishing as low as 12th.

Just watched the replay on Fox. Am very pissed, very tired and very hoarse but the roar seemed just as loud on TV (especially in the last 15 mins). We were coasting, West Coast scored 4 goals in about 5 minutes had the momentum, we were GONE for all money, yet somehow found something extra. PRENDA YOU ****ING BEAUTY !!!!!!. Spared a though for Thornton, fingers crossed. Out for 4-6, I would take that. Keep an eye on Carrazzo, will be a gun !!!!. Our defence MAGNIFICENT. 43000, a record . Stick that up your arse Demetriscum you maggott !!!!. Why didnt you present the cup you piss-weak gutless sack of shit. I wanted to see 43000 BOO in unison  Although Rats did a job and seemed genuinely pleased for the boys.

Well I picked you to make the 8, but my only concern is injuries, sure all teams have them, but I'm not too sure on your depth.

Having said that congrats on winning the Wiz Cup and good luck in the season proper.....

Cheers

Ta Fid.

@#$%&! oath, what a win. I taped it, and stayed up with the intention of watching the first few minutes - yeah right!

Livo, you are a bloody champ. Brilliant performance.

Carrazzo, while he didn't get huge stats, was impressive - one percenters, showed a bit of toe. I likes the cut of his jib.

Shit I hope Thornton's knee's not too bad. What a bastard of a thing to happen.

Winning form is good form - we have winning form. :D

Interesting that all the thoughts prior to the game were based around CFC needing to shut down the Eagles running onballers.

Well according to excerpt from an AFL article below, Judd and Fletcher got plenty of the pill but the blues still got home by playing solid team football. Cousins also went well so 3 out of 4 Eagle onballers playing well still couldn't get them over the line.

Yes the Eagles got back into the game but IMHO if the Blue had been more sensible with some of their skills in the 3rd quarter we could have easily have gone to 3/4 time 40 points up. Digby dropped the chest mark right in the goal square. Fev missed from 30 and a few other kicks missed there intended target when we were streaming inside 50.

I'm glad we won it the way we did. We dug deep and came from behind late in the last. Everyone put in right to the final siren. Overall though we were by far the better team, and as the scoreboard showed, we were peppering the goals all game.

And despite 35 possessions from Chad Fletcher and 27 touches and two goals from the brilliant Judd, the Blues' underrated midfield more than held its own with Nick Stevens - who missed his brother's wedding to play in this game - a constant inspiration in finishing the match with 22 kicks.

Regards Cazzesman
