You keep saying that and you will believe it. I bet the players aren't thinking that way; thank god.

Is that your bottom 6 for tonight? Not a bad bottom 6.

I expect Gov and Haynes to be in our best.
I expect Williams to kick 3 goals and be in contention for AA.
Francis is a stop gap. Probably a sub. A small with a strong body who doesn't shirk an issue. He's in for Fantasia. He hasn't played a game for us and you are writing him off. Why?
Doc a bottom 6 player. I'll take that anyday.
Fogarty plays a role. I'm not a huge fan, but when he plays, we win most games.

Ditto

But he's not.

Nankervis will be making his presence felt. :fight:

Fogarty is what you call a good honest player, is accountable and provides pressure. He may not gets heaps of ball but he plays a role.

I would, but I don't know all the internal variables. The MC must have a plan for TDK vs Nankervis.

I look forward to seeing who will give TDK a chop out, how much TOG TDK has, and what injuries (if any) come out of ruck contests.

The rest of the team I am happy with.

Capt Obvious says: A solid performance, a win, no injuries, and the plan to get Charlie back next week.

What I want to see is.......

Kemp, Motlop and Cowan to all take strong steps forward. SOS, to give us plenty of hope as a defender and foil for Weits. Lord to show he is a valuable/viable on-ball option.

Regards Cazzesman

Its unfortunate we have 13 players not available for round 1.

It is but what I really like is the fact that even though we have a number out, our side still looks really strong on paper.

Re Fogarty. Don't forget he was excellent last time we played this mob.

He's not a tall obviously but he's still an important 'structural' player for the forward line.

There is a FB rumour that McKay isn't 100% but will play.
Also Fantasia (calf) won't play along with Fogarty.
Not sure if there is any truth to it or not.
I am going tonight but I am worried about the game. I hate going in favourites and expected to win comfortably.
Hope I am wrong.

Correct another dirty prick that needs to be taken out.
De Koning needs to match the aggression and elevate his status, this is the game to make a statement

He wants 1 million a year plus for 7 years. He ought to be able to deal with Nankervis, Xerri and anyone else for that coin. Nowhere to hide anymore.

Last two years we've won 57% of our games

With Fogarty in the team we've won 74%.

Without Fogarty we've won 37%.

I quite like his role...

Supporters have no right to question the MC's selections after 6 months of preseason, most behind closed doors.

No drama having an opinion, but to criticise selections without any understanding of each player's fitness, body of work, let alone their charter within the team's fabric is a reflection of the type of supporter, not the coach.

I doubt Voss will be outcoached by Yze, AND, this is a warm up game for next week's game against the highly fancied Hawks, who we will beat for reasons I've outlined before. Why fear the Hawks when we haven't even seen the Blues play for 4 points this season?

Curnow and Fantasia will be back next week, and that will put pressure on the players tonight to keep their spot.

Bring it on. Bounce the ball. :fight: Its a brand new season.

True but you can criticise Voss and the MC for what happened in the Finals last year
Bondi that was a joke
I admire your optimism but personally I do wonder what the @#$%&! the MC is doing

So, if we both have Fogarty in the team and have Fogarty out of the team at the same time, we win 101% of the time!

I like them odds
