Voss and CFC have every single player talking up the “if we bring the pressure and defensive mindset for four quarters we know we’re a good chance in any game”. So why is it so had to do it? What are oppositions doing that makes it impossible for us to sustain that mindset and action-set for 4 quaters week-in andWeek-out, whomever the 22 selected are, any decent player can run and tackle and man-up and zone-up when required if he/she sets their Mind To It.

I think our lack of pace is a big contributing factor. Much harder to apply defensive pressure when you can't really catch them.

I never wanted to wish any player who left our club unwell, but Dows carry on after getting, what I maintain, a lucky free, lifts him to heady stakes of number one of the no Christmas card list.

Not happy at all about that

Was happy with his stats though, he wont be missed by us

I'd suggest the issue is that playing that way requires full buy-in from the team because they need to unconditionally trust each other to have their backs eg when leaving their man to pressure the ball carrier, and also scenarios like taking risk with the ball and not being caught out on a turnover.

Without that full buy-in players go to self preservation by default and we see the static down the line play.

So while it's easy to say it's not easy to implement because it doesn't work if only a few guys are prepared to play that way - they just end up over committing and looking bad.

Stocker also. Getting lippy towards Cripps and then tearing his hammy. Flog.

I know people close to him and have heard stories - massive FIGJAM.

Nah…

These guys are still kids.

Doesn’t surprise me at all that they’d want to be a little over the top with their celebrations.

They’ve been told by a club that they’re not wanted and 40 guys they’ve come through with are no longer their day to day companions.

Not surprising they want to show their new buddies they’re one of them.

I don't usually watch the replay after attending a loss but I couldn't sleep last night, so I flicked on the game. It's probably been mentioned elsewhere but what was the @#$%&! deal with JSOS and TDK sitting in a corporate box with Gubby Allan?
Gubby was having a nice little conversation with Tom.
After Jack told his old man about Caminiti starring at Carlton training, I'm unsure about his objectivity.
Hopefully the club drags them in and sorts it out. Sit with your team mates. Not the opposition list manager. WTF

I thought that was weird too.

As an aside, I hear Caminiti isn't happy at St Kilda

I'm still furious about this happening.

WTF was TDK thinking? Bad look.

Good point re Caminiti
