3 players in the first 10 minutes tells the story of our year.

Getting completely destroyed in space. And outpressured. Not only are they getting more ball, they've almost doubled our tackles. This could easily become a 15 goal loss.

In the first quarter it was Owies. This time Walsh and Hewett completely missing leading forwards.

And what was Charlie doing when he had the ball inside 50 in space?

It seems last half of last year and first half of this year was an aberration

This team is all talk. Talk talk talk talk. Watch tape, taken on learnings. Stronger together. They are taking the absolute p$%%. I want out season to be over now. Cant take much more of this.

Everyone was getting excited. But you could see this coming. We are weak minded. We have too many passenger. We dont have the key position depth. We go and recruit bits and pieces with no conviction.

We are done. I am convinced i wont see this team be successful in my lifetime again.

Such a poorly coached team... no confidence in the system (do we have one?) whatsoever...

Yet another goal less quarter from the team with the last two Coleman medallists..... We are a pissweak club who have settled for mediocrity. The players will all smile and joke after the game because it means nothing to them, they played a final last year, they can hang their hats on that. Voss said after the port loss he didn't see the capitulation coming, the rest of us did because these players are a bunch of pathetic, slow, half arsed softcocks, Cripps aside, and fog and boyd who are injured, every one of them can go @#$%&! themselves.

i am so so sick of this too. he's clueless. great motivator and speaker - but he's a career midfield coach, nothing more.

Try SOS's pathetic drafting
Not even that. 20 years of poor player attitude. We keep changing everything else, list is ok, bit in the end the players simply never ever want it badly enough. Coaches, recruiters, changing those is like shuffling the deck chairs on the Titanic. If the players don't want it badly enough then nothing changes. In the end, despite huge promise during the year, the results are barely any better. 5 of the last 6 years we have looked a chance to do something only ti capitulate the last 4 or 5 games. Time players either want to win badly enough or leave the club.

The list is clearly not good enough

Motlop is an absolute passenger. Owies ineffective. Walsh looks crippled. Acres, Newman, Oli and Cincotta invisible. Our smaller running players are getting obliterated in comparison to the opposition.

Love to see the coaching panel try something a little different. Because we're heading for a thrashing without any changes.

It just makes no sense how bad we are playing.

I wonder that too. Did someone root someone else's missus?

... we have zero forward pressure.

they are running us into the ground and spreading into space, sideways, forwards, in behind the defense. and we don't have the wheels or stamina to go with them.

and this was before we lost 3 players.

A Sam Mitchell connected Hawthorn continues to make us eat shit and has done so for the best part of 20 years - he laughs every time he hears the word Carlton - I’d love to once wipe the snarmy shit eating grin off his face - but he makes us eat shit every single time we okay Hawthorn.

It's obviously hard when the team is struggling. But Kemp just keeps on getting defensively exposed week in and week out.

Play Binns and Lord next week, they at least seem fit enough to last a whole game

Who in the coaching team is responsible for watching the opposition and coming up with a plan to counter.
From the first bounce we charged up and let them get outside with players unmarked. We have completely got our system wrong and it's highly unlikely we will be able to correct it mid game with players dropping like flies.
Best we can hope for is to stop the bleeding and cling to a top 8 spot in name only for the weekend.

Their development has been ok, but they're no quicker than the current joggers we have on our list - Walsh included.
