There has been constant denial that dirty tactics exist in modern day footy and it’s all there for you to see. There’s coaches who will ask their players to maim and aim to take out players without making it obvious. Clarkson is only one. Imagine now a game with higher stakes.

Next. If the soleruck is injured it disrupts our structure. I’d rather Pitto come on as a sub than watching Harry in the ruck. Next thing you know his opponent goes forward to stretch our defence. In this case Comden went forward and kicked 3 goals. 3 tall forwards vs 2 tall defenders.

It’s not personal. I thought you may value 5 commentators all saying that’s what happens when you go in with one ruck. No problem having Pitto as a break glass option aka insurance.

I love TDK but he’s not made of steel.

And Pitto is a good first ruck. You love stats? Stats suggest he’s No 1 in winning stoppages. Both Pitto and TDK are great clearance rucks.

We are stretched for quality KPad to support Weiters. He’s on his own. Wish we had Jones or spoke.

We have to win this game. Losing is not an option against a bottom 2 team.

BELATED HALF TIME COMMENTS
I didn't think Voss's comment that he didn't give a toss if Crippa won another Brownlow was on tone. I know where he was coming from, it's about the system and the team players not the stars but it was just a bit off.

Paint would have been peeling from the walls at half time in the blues player room this week I suspect. And they need it, even if they don't all deserve it, because something has to improve with this teams attitude. We all know you can't win them (even in '95) all but you can be consistent in the simple things, and then it's down to tactics, strategy, matchups and coaches box. Train the simple things for DEFENCE and back half rebound and sickout transition, that's where it's all going wrong ATM.

Charlie's goal kicking will return to form, he's too constantly good for it not to. Needs to pass to a front running forward/mid from 50-60m not try and kick the 60m goal like he did last week when Cripps was running into the goal sq 10m in front of his opponent.
