I don’t think we can fit Cripps Hewett & Kennedy in the same side. Too much of the same. Individually very good but we look better with only two of them supported by Walsh Docherty Cerra Fogarty & Cuningham. Great mix

I like the idea of Dow then as sub. Adds some burst later in the game when needed

I was filthy when Kennedy was the sub against Brisbane (didn’t really care v WCE)… BUT… if midfield oomph is the sub role, then he’s the guy.

The beauty of Kennedy is that he can play forward also, stronger overhead than all our mids. Just don't put him down back again.

So as a sub can come on for a mid or a small or even tall forward

Just by the way, I think that Acres has been doing a good job lately of mimicking Kennedy's ability to take big marks down back or up forward at key moments. Just an observation, not a comment on selection.

It’s a good range - and if things go wobbly early, then it’s not like he can’t bring the same heat for 2-3 quarters.

Charlie, Harry, and Pittonet/TDK in the same forward line. Not a fan

Emergencies:
Jordan Boyd
Ed Curnow
Josh Honey
Jack Silvagni
My money would be on Boyd. Given we have 2 rucks and Harry I cant see us going JSOS, Honey I don't rate and Ed I think is cooked.

I’d make SoS the sub and switch Pitto out at half-time. Whoever does better of the two of them in their half of footy as TDKs back-up plays next week…

Harry in, Pittonet retained and JSOS an emergency. It makes us top heavy for our style of play?

Does not make sense unless the MC knows someth9ing we don't.

I hope that's not 1-2 for Fogarty

I think they’ll want Boyd to play a full game given he had 3 weeks off. My money is on Ed again

And if we get an injury to a runner early? No too top heavy in my view. Given GWS's lineup this week I could see the MC resting Pitto next week and trialling TDK with backup from JSOS and if need be Harry in the final round.

Hrmmm a little worried about being too top-heavy, on the other hand though H is quite athletic for his size.
