Fogarty in is a surprise - saw the game last week with Bondi B and he wasn’t a stand out

I would've preferred Motlop but I can see the logic in Fogarty for Martin.

Plowman would be my choice as sub from those emergencies.

Fogarty is a great tackler, applies good pressure around the ball and can pinch hit in the midfield. Hopefully he has a great game.

Any of the 4 emergencies would have been preferable to Fogarty.

I hope he proves me wrong. Big time.

Yeah I'm not a Fogarty fan but maybe Voss can get the best out of the lad.

I guess Fogherty is being included to play a specific role, good to see we’re sticking with the plan instead of relying individual brilliance such as Motlop would bring.

Unless Dow improves I would resist selecting all the emergencies

Interesting that they have named Ugle-Hagan. I'm actually more worried about him tomorrow night than I am about Naughton. Naughton is a known quantity and we/Weitering will be ready. JUH on the other hand is just the sort of player to come in and kick 4 goals out of nowhere. Hope I'm wrong about that. And also that our mids limit the opportunities their forwards get!

I think we tend to forget that Fogarty was very good for us early last season. He fell away after that, but if he can recapture his form from 12 months ago he’s worthy of a spot in the team.

Every time he (Fogarty) attended a centre bounce he seemed to be involved and able to gain possessions- unfortunately David Teague refused to utilise him there more consistently.

Yeah, he looked slow, and got closed down a lot last week.
But he does amazingly get a boot in whilst tackled most of the time.

Fog showed great form when he started with us a couple years ago, and then started well again last year. He just couldn't kick 'em from a distance. You can blame Teague etc but his destiny is in his own hands.
He has weaknesses. There's a big chance he wont kick goals too.

But I reckon Fogs job has to be to close down Daniels who plays HB.
He will play a stopper.

If he does that well, he may snag some goals when Daniels gives Fog space.
Good luck to him.

Fog's is not the story though.

We all know the value Walsh is to the mid field.
One classy soldier out (Cerra) one soldier in (Walsh).
Walsh Trumps all.

It all starts with TDK continuing his vein of form in the ruck.
TDK will annoy English and Pitto will soften him up.

We will win this.
We are playing with the right hardness in our resolve. May it continue.

He does my head in. Seriously nearly ruined a great game last week. NFI.

Why couldn’t they give him the North -v- West Coast game - then he’d blow a brain gasket having to pay a holding the ball free kick against Petreski-Seton.
