Games like this remind you that we do lack a fair bit of pace. We go ok when the grounds are a bit heavy and things are congested, but when it's quick we look super slow.

Plenty of home town decisions from the umpires not helping the situation either.

But we have half a team out there.

flower umpires - cost us another game. Get rid of the umpires and we would win a flag.

Shocking effort. Port are on fire. Against a young team they have blood in their nostrils and haven't given an inch .
The baby blues are going to be on the end of a huge loss.
Shame. It will take the shine off our better performances over the last month.

At least we wont get ahead of ourselves.

Nup.

No idea what you've got going there.

Lucas shit himself and in his confusion to avoid the contact he actually confused his way through the Port Defenders.

Then shit himself when having a shot.

Losing is not an issue but being pushed around and having no respect shown to you by your opposition is unacceptable.

They are pushing and knocking us at every opportunity at every disposal and we just take it prison style...dry.

Another leftie! The kid was taught a lesson by Gray early on, but has had a couple of good touches that quarter. Good experience for all the kids tonight, particularly the fitness levels they need to get too.

Thank god Samuel L Jackson isn't playing for Carlton and Laurence Fisburne isn't playing for Port Adelaide.

Hartley would be jizzing it right there in the commentary box.

Wait until the Mighty Bombers get hold of us next week. Going to be ugly. Uglier than Tania.

21 shots to 6 about sums it up.
Team full of kids playing against a team with a full list to pick from.
No point bagging them. They're just outclassed.
It was always a probability.
The tackling is off because the spaces in our zone is wrong and they don't now how to fix it.
The Port mids are better than ours and giving us a lesson in free flow footy.
When you're well in front you can take risks and it doesn't hurt if something goes wrong.
Lucas and Holman haven't played all year so they are off the pace.
Menzell must be sore.
Judd is being triple teamed because there isn't anybody else that will hurt them.
Players like Bell are still learning how to play.

We had a great opening fifteen minutes and scored one behind. That set the pattern. Fight, tackle, get possessions and then Judd misses an easy one. Instant deflation.

8-8 from turnovers tells it all. Pressure kills inexperience.

Don't take too much from this game.

If we get slaughtered and it looks like we will, our drop in percentage may get us a better pick.
