some fair points

What did you think of the last 70 seconds where it looked as if we were milking the clock?

Because they are senior players and onballers they must set the example that losing is not on the agenda
That's what separates Selwoods and Fyfes from them

Gibbs will win are B and F this year and probably be All Australian. He has improved so much this year.
I have been his harshest critic and happy to eat my words but his last 10 minutes were terrible. A lollypop pass which resulted in a turnover then a feeble chase on the wing where he pointed to one of our youngsters to chase. When it truly counts.

Agree entirely. I was watching Gibbs as that play unfolded thinking wtf is he doing?!? And Murph missed that set shot in the 3rd q. He has form with these. Remember the final in Perth? It's just as well he seems to miss them early in games otherwise people would be stringing him up.

Might have something to do with injuring his back in the warm up.

You're also forgetting that he was one of the hardest working players for the proceeding 110 minutes of the game. Absolutely busted a gut to get to contests. That ripper he kicked from the pocket was the product a run starting deep in defence.
With only 1 on the bench I don't think he can be blamed being short of breath.

I know this may sound a little harsh, but having watched this game twice (at the game and replay on TV) I think it is very hard for those who were watching the TV to get a real handle on what happened in the last 10 mins of the game.

You could clearly see players trying hard to provide an option, but their legs couldn't carry them fast enough to make space from their geelong opponent. And nobody should be criticizing Gibbs as he bust his arse all game and with limited rotations for half the game, he was part of the reason we were defending a lead in the first place.

Breretton said the same thing on crunchtime, they just could not run anymore.

Similar injuries to Collingwood and they didn't even give a yelp against Brisbane last night.

Gibbs & Jamo injured in the warm up. Ellard gets subbed in the second. Then does Thomas & Menz meanwhile Yazz is hobbling around for the last half.

He should be grateful, without Mick being a flower to him nobody would even know who he is.

What happened to Gibbs and jamo?

Gibbs ran off midway through warm up and after hurting his back. Jamo also ran off midway through warm up and I think that's when he did his calf.

The carrying on about Collingwood's injuries is rediculous. They got smacked by a bottom of the ladder side.

We had the same situation and almost knocked off a premiership contender.
