They talk about giving respect to the AFL public.
That makes me laugh even harder.
The AFL media need to take a good hard look at themselves and the game before they begin talking about respect.
The game is a shambles and their interested in the malthouse presser.
This game is a joke... The AFL media are on the front line of the sham that this game has become...
Are they trying for credibility?
Ate they serious!?

dunno about any of that, but for me
it's basic courtesy and respect toward fellow human beings.
a bit of humility and grace would not go astray.
he just acts like a King Jerk, and what for?

Or you believe the media is respecting this sport.
Or the average football fan?

They're not.
The game needs to take a good hard look at itself.
Everybody is treating us like idiots.

I think the media are hypocrites.

I'm saying basic manners in private, or public are the way we convey respect to one another.

And is this about mick and Caro or is this in talking stuff?
See... I have a problem with the media highlighting this and putting it out there front and square compared to the respect they are paying the game and us.

I can think of a number of things the AFL media should be addressing instead of Mick s demeanour.
When was he insulting anyway?
Did he ask them stupid questions?
They need to be accountable themselves.
Who focuses on their accountability and honesty etc to the game?

I'm offended each and every time I hear another story about the players are not at fault here..
I think they are paying me a disrespect with their fairy tales and propaganda...

We played around the boundary on the shortest widest ground in the country
Where did that instruction come from

The instruction came from the recruiters who have delivered to us a list that is not capable of maintaining possession against good AFL opposition.
Worked in the first half but once the game was broken open how did we go?

Can I just say one of the things people do not comprehend is perspective.
Without perspective you're looking at things in isolation and not in true context.
We are in this position not because of mick but because of many factors that are spawn from a time before mick was at the club.
It is the direct result of s club that has been doing many things wrong for a long period of time.

Ok you made your point
But why play the boundary on a round ground
You said its because we cant maintain possesion surely the less you have taking it from one end to another the less chance you have of losing it

true but at the moment mick is certainly playing his part in our continued downward spiral

however, i do think he can help turn it around. i've seen glimpses this year but its been 1 step forward, 2 steps back

Because open play would slaughter us
It's easier to guard half the ground than all of the ground. You do understand how smaller armies can defend a pass compared to open areas?
Think Switzerland.

And what's bullocks?
You believe our club was flying till mick came?
You're funny... He was brought in because the club is a shambles from top to bottom and he might be the wrong guy because the club is a shambles from top to bottom... And that's why he's here.
Do you understand those two well made points?
One needs a mind in strategy the other begs a mind of common sense.
Now make your point about how this club has been well run till mick came ....
Go on and then I'll rip your argument to absolute sheds with some more common sense

When mick is talking to the media, he must realise that he is actually talking to Carlton members.

Maybe but we don't know that... Because we're weak in the list department.. We have been poor in development.. Culture is horrible and this has been ongoing for a long time...
Judd's finished
Scotland gone
Games changed
Nothing coming through.
Etc

You must begin with a stress test of r foundations
The club is poor and has been poor in all areas for two decades.
Things have been giving way for a long time.. Its not sudden.

You're right... He's talking to us about what?
What went wrong with the game? How our recruiters are crap?
How there's nobody to come in?
How players are injured?
That the club is basically at the point it should be at.
Too bad for the supporters you deserve more but a competition means we're putting up against every other club... Not just on the ground but also off.. And the two are not in parallel universes.
No matter how some of you think they are. They're not!
What you see on field is mirrored off field in performance.
It's just there are not twenty cameras there live to show you.
The sooner people get through that through your heads the faster you'll get what's going on
