The Great Mick already painting the Swans as the best list the history of the game has ever seen - "17 or 18 of their reserve side could get games in senior AFL teams"

cunning man Mr Malthouse - has his favorites who he defends and protects and hides in the pockets

And has his "red line" players. Like Watson who he brings back against the HAwks and plays him on Roughead in the first quarter - then drops him.

Now finally he gives Graham a shot - and you guessed it ladies and gentlemen its against the Swans in Sydney, the most ferocious of tackling sides in the league and also having the highest workrate and discipline

Good Luck Graham - probably get dropped the following the week for not performing against the Swans in Sydney.

Mick setting this game up beautifully - if we lose, then its got nothing to do with him, (just the worlds number 1 list)

If we win, then it must be the supreme coaching skills of the master in the box - cant be the players, they are in an inferior list remember ladies and gentlemen?

(And of course, for the whole year guess which team has occupied the top spot for the most weeks? Hinkley Port Power - obviously they dont have the worlds number 1 list do they Mr Malthouse. Mick should get into politics after he finishes football - perfect nature)

I reckon we can knock the Swans off this week - and in spite of the lack of faith shown by the senior coach, it will be due to the efforts of the players ladies and gentlemen.

just out of curiosity Cret, what is your Port Adelaide membership number?

is Ken Hinkley your dad?

do you need to repeat your love of Port Adelaide at every turn???

Sportingbet offer for Carlton members - $5 for Murphy and Judd to get 50 touches between them.

Will take that.

Weather? 19-6, 0% chance of rain.

....and it's a maximum of $20 outlay. Eh, I'll have a play.

Bad luck that Troy is missing.
Would have loved to see him take on the Swans at the small oval and try and weave something from nothing.
The medical staff should NOT have sent him back out (clearly), but I don't think he should have played this week either way.
He'll do better for the rest.

Good luck Graham -
He's gotten an opportunity.
Who gives a flying fig who its against. If he shows something, he should be persisted with.
SIMPLE AS THAT.
Don't give the delusional trolls any oxygen.

I'm more interested to see how Ellard plays -
Big test for him to see whether he can show his good form.

I don't mind the idea of starting Bell & Brock with one of them pencilled in for the red vest,
with Daisy saved as Sub for when we need some tackling and chasing late in the game.
But I guess it would take guts to give Daisy the green vest... not sure that will happen.

Levi's been getting a lot of applause this week. Hope it hasn't gone to his head.
The Swans will be looking to totally shut him out.
Hope he can step up

If we are within 3 goals at the last change we will be a shot !

Go Blues !

Thats the point - HE MUST SHOW SOMETHING THIS WEEK AGAINST THE SWANS IN SYDNEY,

We can give Everritt 4 months so he can show us that he can play a good game every month and hide him on the wings and in the pockets like we do with daisy and Docherty.

But Watson MUST perform against Hawthorn, who we havent beaten in years and also be best on ground and hold Roughhead down a dual premiership player and monster forward.

Only one chance for Watson this year - the year of the Mick and Wiley "PROVING yourself to stay on the list" year.

And you can bet your bottom dollar that Graham will get one chance too - not 4 months like the chosen ones.

Good luck to him - he looks like he has some class and talent in him.

not an even playing field with the Mick and Wiley circus - the best way to ruin a sense of TEAM in any club is for the senior coach to have favorites and protected species. I hope this changes soon. every player on our list must feel like they have a chance to play senior football if they put their heads down and work hard and get some form under their belts.

(not many players star in their first games - even in their first few seasons. imagine mick was around when Simpson played his first 3 games, where he didnt get a single possession? simo turned out to be a great durable and courageous player)

Spewing Menzel is out. One of the only reasons to get excited about watching the blues go round.

At least ill get to see Juddy don the navy blue once more,
Plus seeing how Graham and Johnson go.

Swans in a canter, by +39.5

This is 1st place v bottom 4 material
