Serious question , does anyone actually give a flying fox about this team in 2014 anymore ? Nothing excites me anymore... Not even the odd debutant , they are simply too few and far between ... Why am I still watching carazzo , McLean , Waite , armfield , et al running around ? Why?

have never cared less.

Even in the Mayne/Toshiba years I was going almost every week and getting excited by losses under 10 goals.

Now I truly couldn't give 2/3rds of a @#$%&!.

I'll care if Graham and Holman play, no matter what Synners thinks of them :-)

Happy to see, Holman and Graham come in.
In a few more weeks we get Cripps and Buckley back.
Lineup in a few weeks could be,
Buckley Jamison White
Simpson Rowe Touhy
Docherty Gibbs Yarran
Thomas Henderson Judd
Menzel Johnson Everitt
Warnock Murphy Cripps
I/C; Curnow (tagger) Graham Walker
Sub; Holman/Bell
Not a chance but would like too see..
McLean, Waite and Carrazzo are finished in my opinion..

Maybe not finished, but certainly not the future.

Add Kruezer for Warnock, and it does look like a new team.

Whilst I'm not convinced yet, but it would be great if Rowe and White cemented a spot in the backline.

Carlton by 52 points.

Csboult kicks a bag. Judd 3 goals.

This is what happens when the supporters don't trust the people running the club. That they won't make the right decisions. Which leaves us with little hope for the future

Very surprised if carlton won this. Malthouse has thrown kids in as a preemptive strike as an excuse if we lose.

Agreed.

Apathy is the general feeling amongst most Carlton fans I speak to.

Really sad situation. It's only a game and all, but a great pastime for many people and families has turned into "meh".

Can't win.

Doesn't play the kids = trying to lose
Plays the kids = trying to lose

There's some real entrenched MM axe-grinders about :?

One of my kids has an old jumper with Toshiba Home Theatre on it. A reminder of a miserable past/present decade.

St Kilda are the worst team in the comp by a country mile. A very easy win coming up.

The 3 young players are listed on the extended bench so he might play all or none. I remember a game in the dark years when Pagan was coach and Setanta, Blackwell and Russell had played a handful of games and hadn't played in a win. We were bottom and playing Melbourne and it was very tight. We were in front but the dees were a reasonable side then and coming at us hard. He had all 3 players on for most of the last quarter, and certainly for the final siren and risked safety for giving young players a chance when it counted. Hopefully Mick will do this and just give these guys a go. Its not like the usual suspects are playing winning football. Hard to write off guys like Graham as some do, with him bog every week in the 2s and barely getting a run in a second rate seniors team. Anyway would expect a decent win. Surely even our paltry list is better than the saints.

sorry Goltz this time not exactly the road he will take or has taken the last few weeks

he will play the kids and has tried to be more competitive as the results have shown, we have used the corridor or the flanks more than just the boundaries in recent times

we are out of contention and will need to show improvement from now on in (hence the discipline and challenging players) and a marked improvement from now continuing next year will give a false sense of improvement and will enhance his contractual situation

this way he gets maybe another 3-4 years and an over inflated ego

Ok Redback, how many wins do you think Carlton will have for the rest of the season?

I'm loving your work here. I think we'll win by 16 goals.

Gibbs 42 possessions and 4 goals BOG
