Like to see Everitt on Swan. Can go deep back on him if needed, etc..
Carrazzo on Pendelbury and that is it.
Thomas, Murphyt & Gibbs to run free but be accountable, especially against Beams.

Make sure we keep Maxwell accountable. Do not let him to pick off and be 3rd man up. I swear I will lose it if I see that.
Seperate the backline and have them 1 out against Hendo, Waite & Cassy. We can hurt them here!

Jamison (FB) & Rowe (CHB) vs Cloke & White...rotate on each depending on who is playing deep and higher up.
Communicate and don't get dictated too by them. White vs Goldsack!
Buckley vs Elliott - big task for young man, Walker & Tuohy on flanks.

Go BLUES!!!!!!

You won't have to worry about Murphy running free. He will have macaffer hanging off him all night. Should make it easier for Murphy to be accountable.

Yep ... thats the way to do it.

But the biggest thing to remember is no more Dr Strangelove start stop crap along the boundary. Play on at all times.

Go Bluebaggers!

I would sacrifice someone to smash Harry.

Cmon down Robbo. It would be worth it.

Every Thursday around mid afternoon ... I start to cringe at what the MC might do this week.

Please ...

- NO BOOTSMA. (thats the baseline ... the starting point)
- Consider giving Graham an opportunity.
- Don't drop Levi (He needs extended time in the seniors... his stats are better than Rowe's).

Even if we go back to the Dr Strangelove bomb tactic ... at least we could have three big blokes up forward that can take a mark. Levi needs to handball every time he takes a mark ...

Given it's going to be cold, wet, slippery dropping Casboult and Rowe is exactly what we should do. The good news is we'll have a chance to get back Ellard and multi RS award winning Carraazzoo.

The bitter hatred of Collingwood goes back over a hundred years. Essendon* only goes back to the 80s. For me (and everyone I know of my generation), it's Collingwood, then Essendon* and Richomnd (Richmond has only fallen off the radar because they've been irrelevant for so long), then daylight the rest.

I fear Elliott and Beams tomorrow night. We struggle against small forwards, and Beams is a bloody good 3rd best midfielder.

Anyone get a gig in the guard of honour for the players as they run out? I'll be there with my 10 year-old nephew.

I'd go
Out - Rowe, Casboult, Tuohy
In - Wood, Carrots, Armfield
Sub - Robbo

Hopefully a few of the players wake up to this and run through him a few times.

Sit on Maxwell and Harry and we effectively nullify their drive off half back.

So you would dump our best backline player who can play on gorillas when the opposition has two of them
And you want to add a lumbering ruckmen in when we want to run run run
And you would dump a player who can actually take a contested mark
You would bring in a guy who can't kick
Then you bring in another guy who can't kick
And you drop a guy that can kick

OK I see your point.

I think there's an argument for dropping one of the talls for structural reasons
Wet night, opposition talls aren't in great form. Might need

For me,
Simpson Jamison White
Walker Rowe Tuohy
Thomas Carrazzo Yarran
Everitt Waite Gibbs
Garlett Henderson Menzel
Warnock Murphy McLean
I/C; Casboult Buckley Scotland
Sub; Lucas or Robinson
Out; Lucas or Robinson
In; Carrazzo
Carrazzo to Pendelbury
Everitt to Swan
Buckley to Elliot
White to Goldsack
Must make Maxwell and Harry accountable when ball becomes free...
Massive game, must win NO excuses at all, big stage Friday night...

For a ruckman/KPF Casboult has done......well..........not too well. One goal total and an average of less than 5 HO per game.

I like a pack mark as much as the next fella, but I think it's time.

I think there's an argument for dropping a tall for structural reasons. It'll be a wet night and Cloke isn't in great form. We also might need a little more run given the 6 day break against a quick team.

I also think the best footy we've played for the last decade was while we went 'short' in the backline, with Jamison at FB and Laidler as the undersized CHB. On paper it always looked like we'd be out muscled in the air, but ultimately the extra run meant their midfielders were under pressure in their delivery, while midfielders were able to roll back to stop the 1v1. I'd like to see that approach trial again.

I wouldn't worry too much about him.

Unless of course you don't like opposition players streaming out of defense to bomb it directly to one of your blokes.
