Waite reprimand for staging. Lewis got nothing for his dive - which was way worse.

Simmo not even looked at.

MRP - N Fyfe offered 2 matches, Z Dawson 1, T Hunt 1. J Waite has been reprimanded for staging. J King, R Douglas fined. More to come.

Really? Only Waite was reported for staging? Pretty sure he had a few teammates including Mr 'I want to see a plan' and Brock

Guarantee you that if drug cheating [REDACTED] ruckman at Essendon*, whose name eludes me, isn't playing Joe Daniher or some other spud ruckman, will get 3 votes on Sunday night.

Didn't Jordan Lewis even admit on a radio interview that he staged.

Teams losing to Essendon* this year (prior to the forthcoming suspensions) should still be given the points, shouldn't they?

Waite should have got a 10k fine, no place in the game for that shit.

Very difficult as some teams play them twice. in an even comp it would be as simple as handing over points and it would be even stevens.

It's not just Essendon* who are [REDACTED].

..definitely a sit down with the leadership group to hear what they think.. ..probably wont happen, doubt he'd honestly listen eve though he'd make all the right noises..

The Sunday night fixture makes the decision easier, but I won't be going. I'm not contributing to Jimmy's holiday, and I hope the fans stay away in droves (sorry, Blues, we'll make it up to you later...as long as you kick straight).

Nah, say he did get the free and actually kicked the goal (lo and behold)......he's helping the team.

Straight out big fine, won't be long before that shit is removed from the game.

Hollywood Garlett one more chance

If you've given up on the season then sure, play the kids as much as possible, but I think R2 is too early to tank, so pick the best side we can until it is mathematically impossible to make the 8.

McLean is too slow for the Bummers, Ellard should go again given we know he can run out a full game. Remember, these cheats have endurance - far more than us. The only way to win is to come as close as possible to their HGH enduced fitness.

Robbo is a wildcard. Yes, he's erratic, but he'll just as easily win a game off his own head. I want Robbo smashing through packs against these bastards. The MCG against the Scum is his bread and butter.

Menzel is all class - so he stays. Armfield has pace and endurance so he comes in.

How is playing the kids like Buckley, Watson, Menzel, Graham and so on tanking?
If our more experienced or senior players are out of form, injured or not up to it for any reason we play the kids to fill a role. They are there to enhance our list and improve it. If our bottom 6-10 players aren’t good enough then we have to try and improve though out the year by giving our next generation players a shot.
If they hold down a position then it’s up to the dropped players to break back into the side. If at the very least make a meal of their opportunity they have gained invaluable experience and go back to the ressies and know what needs to be improved to make the grade.

Let me assure you, I have no issue playing kids - Menzel is a gem and should play most games this season. Buckley looks good, but his light frame and young age means he won't run out quick tempo games every week all season long. Watson is a bigger body and can handle more games - but he's not a kid any more either. Graham should be given a game when the opportunity arises.

I get fed up with the 'just drop all the big names and play the kids' angle (especially in round 2) that gets trotted out every time we lose a game.

I know it's frustrating, but that's footy - it's a game. You can have a shocker one week, but then back it up the very next week with a corker.

on Bucks, watch him kick a football and ask about armfield again

Its no good getting the ball and then kicking it straight to an Essendon* player both Bucks and menzel get this, which is more than can be said of about 8 others.

Armfield for one of the plodders who can't kick, fine, but not for a speedy courageous good user of the ball.

The MCG website has the expected crowd of 65,000. This time there will be general admission available in the Southern, Olympic and the whole top of the Ponsford Stands. I am undecided whether to spend more money for a seat or just turn up on the night. I was really annoyed last Thursday that the top of the Ponsford stand was about 1/4 full and there was no general admission for this stand.

Interesting you say that dannyboy because I think one of the knocks on Buckley has been his inconsistent ball use. Hopefully we're seeing improvement. He'll be up and down this year, but he has a go and I hope we get 10-12 games into him. Anymore than that in 2014 probably means we're struggling.
