Yes, yes you've said it plenty of times.
Yet we offered Cloke a million dollars. Go figure.

3 guys were going to be traded for that.. and swann and mackay would have handled that...

so i ask u....

is this the sign of a well run club with mick @#$%&! everything up... or is it just [REDACTED]!!!

if the whole club is [REDACTED].. why we blaming mick who just got here...???

Club nailed it with this! We expect more from a premiership coach and are disappointed to see more of the same. Money well spent! End of discussion,

so what club nailed is the people in charge of this club spe nt even more money and brought a guy into the club to destroy it.. but u support them??

oh ok...

Are you some kind of traitor surrey???

why would u support people who burn our money and bring in enemy to ruin the club???

do you ever listen to your nonsense???

Its not spin Surrey.. thats what youre saying.

ok explain what you agree to.

cos im not sure you actually understand much at all...

club said.. mick [REDACTED] up the club... which means people HIRED mick .. the people who hired mick are at the top.. the people u support.

u support the people that hired mick to @#$%&! up the club.
u also say mick [REDACTED] up the club

therefore if you support the people who hired a guy who [REDACTED] up the club and still support them... you are a traitor and are commiting treason against this club.. !!!

make sense??

you cant support the people who unlock the door to your home and allow a rapist murderer in .. but you say youre supporting them...

so i have deduced ... that youre very simple.. or youre enjoying the rape and murder in your own home..

or youd be angry at them....

the inconsistency isnt in me surrey.. the inconsistency is in you...

No one can understand you Synbad but that is beside the point. Calling me stupid gets you no credit.
If I were you, thankfully I'm not, I would be looking at the CEO but you have paid out on everyone but he. Why is that?
Sticks went with the majority of the board and at the time majority like you in here but you always seem to ignore that point and continue to attack the class of 95.
Why is that? What did that premiership team do to you that hurts so much?

surrey if you were sticks youd look at the ceo.. but youre not sticks.. i didnt say youre stupid surrey.... but sticks hires the ceo... u should be sticks surrey.... not me... sticks...

you see surrey you dont rate the ceo but you rate sticks.... you support sticks and dont support the ceo.. u think sticks is wonderful.. but you also know he is part of the machine that allows swann and mathouse to destroy your beloved club...

because youre NOT STUPID.... yu will support sticks in all his flawed decisions because there is a "circle of trust " even though you believe his decisions are murdering the footy club...

i know youre not stupid surrey... i never called you stupid since my last banning.....

the other side of your question surrey... i know youre not stupid right??

but let me answer it...

the premiership team is a bunch of footballers in 1995
by no means does that mean theyre the best people in australia to run our club surrey.. theyre just footbalers...

dermie was a foot baller too surrey.. he was on the board too.. maybe could have president of all of hwathorn too...

he played in more flags than sticks surrey and can even get a job in the footy world from the not hawthorn media..

anyway surrey get this..

once upon a time a decision had to be made surrey

hawthorn had to choose a coach

anyway... not only did dermie not be allowed to be a president ever..
and dunstall was only kept on as ceo for a couple of months
but dermie was pushing for ayers to be a coach at hawthorn surrey..his premiership team mate

anywayyyy to cut a long story short surrey... dermie got thrown off the board at his club even if he played in 7 flags or something.... and wasnt given credcibility for ayres to coach.

what they did surrey.. is not take ayers ex team mate.. but went for clarkson

clarkson paid them back by taking hawthorn to a flag surrey

ayers is coaching port melbourne.

the moral of the story is premiership players dont need to do anything to me personally... if theyre not the best availabe theyre not the best available..!!!

simple...!!!

following???

See Synbad this is why I get frustrated with you. You don't listen.
Sticks is part of the board that voted Ratten out. It was a majority vote which Sticks was only 1 off.
He was not totally to alone for the removal of Ratten, hopefully you get that.
Now if we look at a little further, the change of coach was led by the CEO. Majority in here wanted change as well. Fair enough. Why did we go after Malthouse only though? Why did we not do a process?
That is because we felt the premiership window is open and change was demanded because we failed to make finals let alone top4. Everyone expected us to make top 4 or at the very least top 6 in 2012.
Now after all that we are saying, we don't have the list, sticks and mac are to blame and we were never going to play finals in 2013.
I'm sure I've missed something but you can see why some like me are now angry. Not at the board or individuals but at the playing group and people who make excuses. Stop making excuses and demand some respect back. We are not going to get respect by making excuses and eating our own continuously.

Oh Sticks did a sad speech for his mate??.... you mean that???...

But he also did a happy speech for Mick Surrey....

"Et tu Sticks???"

Google "Et tu Brute ".... i know youre not worldly enough to understand.. but doesnt mean ur stupid ok??

Hawthorn built a team via top 10 picks and gave Clarkson 8 years, off memory. 1 premiership in 12 years by the way is a fail. But this is not the discussion.
We didn't allow Ratten to finish off he's contract, fine. We hired a premiership coach to get the job done.
No excuses now then. We should be putting the heat on MM and the playing group and not making excuses. That is what we as supporters should be doing and not blaming the board for doing what most of us wanted and that was change the coach! You cannot have everything your own way.

No, that's all I wanted.
Acknowledgement that trades and significant list changes were possible. Instead people are telling me "our hands were tied" which is obviously nonsense.
If we had the capacity to free up 1 million dollars, we had the capacity to alter the list however we wanted. Including cutting the deadwood out.
We just chose not to.
Personally, I thought our list was good enough to be a top 8 side easily but I was sucked in. Going by Micks comments, I believe he thought the same yet everyone is telling me otherwise. :?

So yes, I hold the club in contempt for not doing so. All of them, including Mick if he knew the list was shot.
I know you tell me he left it to McKay, I've spoken to several of Micks ex assistants and I can tell you, thats not his style. Mick manages and controls everything.
That doesnt absolve McKay, Swann, Kernahan, any of them. They allowed the situation to exist. If anything, they're more culpable.

It further highlights the fact an independent review is imperative. No person, no position, no action should be excempt.
Unfortunately the successful organisations are heading one direction and we're going the other way. What's worse, we're actually aware of it and the incumbents are too protective of their positions to speak up for change.
Once people are putting their own interests before the clubs, its a downward spiral from there.

of course we could have brought in Cloke but got rid of simmo and two others ....

We even had Warnock up and got something over 30 for him....

But bottom line is its not because of MM that we didnt.....and that the club was in a state of paralysis.

Malthouse told us when he could start work.. the club decided what to do from there.....

Ultimately the people who know the list inside out was the footy dept.... Mick doesnt.. they saw what we needed from last year.. and were not proactive doing their job....

Laying the blame squarely on Malthouse is over the top....

I think they all should apologise for another poor wasted season- the players - the president the board the CEO and the messiah Mick
Apologise for the last performance against stkilda - the diabolical game last week - last quarter fadeouts to Essendon* collingwood and hawthorn - the fact that we still get intimidated by collingwood geelong hawthorn Essendon* and the likely losses in the next few weeks - the fact that Essendon* collingwood and even bloody richmond have gone past us - cant even use the excuse of injuries this year

We have been stalling for years.
We wernt even too sure where we were at.
We know...

But nothing comes without a context,,,, we are where we are because of the directions we took....

If you are driving to Sydney and you end up in Perth.. its because of the roads you took ... they were not the right ones.

Some people mr dardew dont like others to have a go at the footy club... they want all criticism squashed.. and then they find themselves in the boot of a car... tied up gagged and slipping in and out of consciousness... they can hear voices...
"They will never find him here!!!... the spade is in the back with Dardew...chiuckles "

I'm not laying the blame on Mick, I'm just not completely absolving him of it.
They're all culpable as far as I'm concerned.
