Hampson, White and Curnow can play out the rest of the year for the NB. They are VFL standard
Judd is effectively finished...will have some good games, but for $600000 a year, ridiculously overpaid
I have to agree with Synbad now, Lucas is no good, can't lay a tackle and and cannot break a tackle
Laidler must play, I dont give a f where but he is part of our 22
Touhy needs to now go into the middle
Casboult plays out of the square and Waite across HF
Kruezer...who fg knows?

Kreuzer wasn't right to play

With Waite back Hampson is the omission.

Kreuzer and Warnock rotating rucks/interchange/forward.

Need to find a way to play Henderson forward.

We need an option so that midfielders can lower their eyes and kick short instead of bombing in. Henderson is a smart lead up forward who is generally a good decision maker.

MM did best at the Pies with one ruckman, 2 proper key forwards and Leigh Brown as a pinch hitter. Why he went 3 ruckmen tonight is beyond me. Could play Waite and Henderson in the key positions with Casboult playing the 2nd ruck role as Brown did. Could make for a potent forward line at least, just mean playing Watson or Rowe at CHB.

I wonder if the coach gets it?

There is no c&#t factor with class in our side.

because our recruitment strategy focussed on finding upstanding citizens

mummy boys

no wonder our team is mentally fragile, soft and full of introverts

WE WENT OUT AND RECRUITED THAT WAY ON PURPOSE !!

AND

we trumpeted that like it was a good thing

oh what a good upstanding club , finding a home for good mummys boys

daft !

Not to mention 'versatile' workhorses at a stage in the draft when their workmanlike and versatile qualities become moot.

I haven't read all the thread....but sitting with GWS during the second half I think we agreed that this list is either dumb and/or lazy. The few that aren't dumb and/or lazy were hurting bad at the end...Scotland and Henderson.

Barker needs to go, I know injuries and personnel have made it hard but he hasn't put a structure together in 5yrs or whatever he's been there for.
I went to his talk at the coaching conference in Feb & it gave me no confidence whatsoever.

2 questions.

1) Who is Waite?
2) Watson is a midfielder his strength is his agility below the knees why would you play him at CHB?

Would've been interesting to hear his response to Gavin Brown and Barker when they told him the three rucks didn't work any time before.

Can we have another couple of Hendersons please?

It may have seemed too early at the start of this year but I'd make him captain.

The only bloke out there who wins his position 90% of the time and seems to give a @#$%&!.

And he has a presence.

Club won't do it though because it'd hurt Murphy's feelings and there'd be media fallout.

God we're soft.

Same front running, soft players with no natural aggression. Time to play kids, again!
We're years away from a flag.

for the love of god can we now please revert to a structure that will win you a premiership ie 2 proper forwards who can actually pick it up off the deck and be effective, who can lead with conviction etc etc

good small forwards can only take you so far

unfortunately we have a good full back and key forward who are injury prone, not sure what to do about that

desperately need Mitchell to come on. I'm not sure about Levi

Hampson must go!!!

We have two Watson's on our list? I know e have one who's 195cm and 98kg, who plays key defence but who's this other one, who's a midfielder, agile and good below his knees.

Think you have something mixed up.
