Starting to look that way for mine. Not such a bad thing, but just means we need to get some more mids.

I'd be interested to hear what club29 has to say about this

Megaman should be able to set you all straight on my thoughts.

oh FFS, just blow your horn.

You know you want too.

Those shepherds were the highlights of tonight's game for mine

Agreed. So simple, but so effective. Hopefully there has been an emphasis put on this by the new coaches and we'll see plenty more if it

Armfield is a gun... and i reckon him and tuohy will bound forwards this year

Army is another that's improved dramatically this year...

Wrong re army as he was one of our few improves last year. Still he may be even better again.

Tuohy has looked very good past 2 weeks.

I believe you are correct, not as skillful with the ball though obviously.

Army was one of the few success stories last year, he's found his niche as a defensive forward.

Great fighting win.

E-Girls fans will say they d ve won if they kicked straight, but that's not taking into consideration the poor kicking from Shaun Hampson and Sam Rowe.

The team that deserved to win did so.

Will be getting Eddie back next week by all reports, and Waite the week or so after that, so this win can really be the launching pad for a string of wins in a row if we stay focus and play to our maximum capabilities.

Loved his and Jeffy's sheparding work for Yazz in the 2nd term. Been a long time since I've seen instinctive defensive efforts like that from the team.

Twice tonight BT said "It's obvious Yarran is the fastest man on the field tonight and he knows it"

He must have missed Army and Jeffy making a metre a second on him each time to lay the blocks.

Really got the mix between attack and defence right in the 2nd quarter.

As electric as Garlett and Yazz were going forward, it was our ability to defend the corridor the proved just as important.

Kane Lucas - Tentative start (seems to take a ...... nah I won't say it) but I think did OK as the match progressed

Was a good win tonight. It reminded me of our win over Fremantle last year.

Same. Geez we play Subi well.

BT was an absolute flower in that 3rd qtr, as was the umpire who missed Kennedy's throw to Le Cras for a goal.

Warnock was super. He has been labelled soft by many on here but he uses his body properly in ruck contests. Quality ruckman.

Yarran terrific. Recruited to give us mid sized X factor forward & we got it in spades tonight. Keep him there!!

Most pleasing aspect for me was keeping West Coast goalless in the final qtr. Some of our boys (Carrazzo) looked buggered in the last 10 min but we just grinded out the win which will be great for our self belief. Light week on the track this week I would say.

Suck shit to West Coast & their supporters & I hope the WA Blues stick it to them this week
Oh & Kennedy & Masten didn't do much.

He would have played tonight if not injured.

Must have a little more to offer than you think. Probably a fair bit more to offer than AJ, who's contribution was not to get on the field even though 85% of the game had elapsed.

In reference to Verb's domestic arrangements in another post today, I did not move from the one position on the coach for the whole game. Sole reason why we won!

Loved the selfless efforts from Jeffy, Army, Brock, Touhey, Robbo, Juddy. Thought Lachie Henderson was outstanding, all class and so exciting to see Yarran break free and kick straight!

Likewise, I remained a slave to one TV..

On another note , I was mentioning before the game that I thought Ellard should have replaced Brock at selection..how wrong was I... Pfffffft ..goes to show I know sweet FA...

Brock has found his mojo again was fantastic tonight after a good game against the cats.

Very smart player who spreads well, which offsets his lack of pace.

If he continues like this he will be in our leadership group next year.

Also, no one else will agree but I think this year Jamo is back to his 2011 best.

I noted that there were no "torp on the run" attempts tonite....I guess a few talks during the week ? Outmarked JK on 3 occasions in genuine 50/50 contests. Very good work.

Yarran faster than both you just cant tell cause its such an efficient running style. The only reason they were gaining on him was because he had a ball in his hand and had to bounce every few steps..

If Jeffy had been going any faster he'd have caught fire.

4 points taken. Now GTFO of Perth.

No injuries of note is a good result, too.

The Freegles got the rub of the umpires. How Darling wasnt dont for dropping the ball. Gibbs was fair shoved in the back. Hams is a diving maggot.

The only game they've won is against the worst team since Fitzroy folded.

Suck eggs Eagles.
