Ratts just did his presser.

Waite and Robinson definitely back.

Laidler "probably".

Curnow and Duigan to be confirmed.

Brock a chance for this week.

Special mention to Warrnok to harden up.....never seen someone so big and so soft.

Talking of soft Henderson only gets another go this week because Jammo is down and we need someone big down back, but his efforts to date have been - SOFT!!! Cannot understand the clowns on this forum who continually bag the big Irishman and accept the crap that Hendo has handed out in his efforts to date.

The minute Duigan, Robinson, Hammer, Laidler, Setanta, Curnow, Jammo and Waite are ready they should be rushed into the side and I really don't care who makes way for them.

This is a bit of a rant I know, but names have to be named if only for my own sanity.

I totally agree. You really do need to do something for your own sanity.

Hoops, Austin and Touhy are on their last chance. Stop, please, ROFL. My sides are hurting. Touhy on his last chance!!! Bwahaha. That's a beauty. Yes, we've been carrying that dud for years now. Touhy, you've got ONE. LAST. CHANCE. Another bad game like your last 20 and YOUR'RE. GONE. No more being a passenger Touhy!!!

Hoops, you have ONE. LAST. CHANCE. You better not be in our top 6 players again or YOU'RE. OUTSKY!!!!!

And Austin!!! We keep playing you and playing you, and in a team where you only have to be the third or fourth tall, and you keep letting us down. You have ONE. LAST. CHANCE!!!

Wow, this ranting is good. Do I sound less insane now?? Do I?? Do I??

FYI Curnow and Duigan are another week away!

I think the MC will go with:

In: Waite Robbo
Out: Jamo Armfield

Agree with that selection. Have been a fan of Army but he's lost the edge he had last year and the team has improved around him. Robbo was a HUGE out for the team last week.

Been saying for a while that I would like to see Hendo play back. It happened last Sunday and, albeit too late, it worked better for both team and player. Waite forward, Hendo back given the match ups align. Need to get some sort of system going up forward.

Still confused as to the story behind Bower.

..Army currently looks more settled as a BP.. ..he's quick, disciplined, hard at it.. ..in and out of the side doesn't help anyone, and i still think he's our best BP..

Can't drop Austin after one game back after 2 years out with injury. Give him a chance to pick up the pace of the game. Otherwise drop him from the list now.

Duigan is an automatic inclusion if fit. Ellard is not an automatic inclusion and does not deserve to retain his spot, similar with Armfield.

In other words don't panic after one loss. Duigan for Jamison. Robinson for Ellard. Curnow for Armfield. The only unlucky player is O'keefe to make way for Waite.

..sure you can.. ..players that get picked for a game 'purely' due to injuries/outs forcing our hand, when otherwise they would not make it.. ..are back out of the side when the prefered/better player is ready to resume their place in the side.. ..i'm not neccessarily saying he needs to be dropped this week, just saying that in some circumstances it's certaqinly plausible to 'drop' a player after a single game.. ..has happened plenty of times before [for reasons good and bad], and will again..

Not sure I would spell it "OUTSKY". Just doesn't read right to me.

I am not concerned about this weeks game at all. Fair chance we'll have a good look at the tape from round one where they got away, rectify those issues and get the job done.

OK now let me explain myself without sounding like a complete tosser, like you did.

We are in finals mode, and, for the first time in many years we are in top four mode. Now is not the time to be holding players hands and stroking their egos if they can't produce on the field because they are still "developing" or "getting the pace of the game". I understand that many of the changes made were forced via injury and circumstance therefore I am NOT having a rant at the MC; rather a big rant at the players that have been in the system a long time yet cannot produce the standard required to maintain this team in the top four.

Yes, I agree that Touhy, Austin, Ellard and others will have long and hopefully great careers at the Blues but the fact remains that when they are mixing it with the big boys they have to produce or make way for players that will produce. Now if you read my post carefully instead of trying to compose a smart arse relpy that gave you a little snigger, I stated that when the (injured) players mentioned were available they should be rushed into the side. I know that Hammer and Jammo won't be available for some time but others mentioned may be available this or next week. The list of players that were on their last chance; should be interpreted as "last chance to perform or get moved on for the returning players". Now I know that this assumption may have been a bit complex or abstract for you to comprehend and for that I do apologise, but I assumed that most (if not all) would understand this, and not that these players were "literally" on their last chance with the club. I hope that this clarification has soothed your somewhat hysterical demeanour.

It is a simple matter of fact that there are players that are up to it and some not, some will improve and develop into outstanding talents others have reached the pinnacle of their physical and mental capabilities and will be traded or delisted. It is a fact of life for footballers and other professional athletes. There are those that have played in the firsts this year that will not be with the team next year. Deal with it.

Mmmm....seems I need to read "Posting in forums for dummies".

I thought that my point was clear and concise yet has been interpreted in a different way. That said they will not all be there come year end, and I stand by my statement in that there are players who were/are in the first team that will be delisted/traded at years end. Who they are we'll find out soon enough when the heat of a real finals campaign sorts out the players from the pretenders.

I know the odds are with me with regards to the delistings; just making the point that they are not all champions and the team will be improved with some developing and some being moved on.

1. I think you're confusing me with someone who gives a toss. I completely understand what you're saying (although it wasn't easy); I just think that you're full of it.

2. Why would Houlihan be on his last chance when, in his 2nd game back from injury, he was one of our best players and just about our only winner on the day????

3. Why are you talking about my hysteria, when you were the one that first brought up your own insanity. I merely agreed with your own assessment of your own mental and emotional state.
