Brendan Fevola's future deferred to end of the week

I've only seen the footage everyone else has seen. But I imagine that given the nature of his behaviour on the edited version, I'd assume he's got angry and said some things to team-mates and others that have meant that there is no way they will be able to put it behind them.

Given the small but elite nature of the CFC table that night, I know who I'd rather stay if it were a him or me situation.

Is it possible that a Fev trade might derail the McLean trade?

I don't care either way. We have a very good list. If Fev stays and you thought the umpires gave him a hard time before the Brownlow night, then I shudder to think what the future will be for Fev with the umpires. He's a marked man.

Yes I would prefer a win-win and Fev stays as a committed disciplined professional footballer.

I totally understand what the club is trying to do. Only thing is, the delay will just feed the rumour/innuendo. Like others, I'm still confused as to what has actually gone down? Otherwise, it seems to be way over the top.

Would also appreciate a PM if someone would be kind enough. I'm really confused (and worried)...

What is it with the "black cloud" hanging over this club of ours.

It seems it is 2 steps forward / 1 giant step back. We went from having a great year and finally making the finals to within 3 weeks, losing a final we were in a great position to win, Judd being suspended for 3 weeks and now the possibility of Fevola not being at the club next year.

Bad luck really does run in three's!

Wasn't an aboriginal curse placed on the club around the turn of the century. Something someone said (probably JE :roll:

Warbs they were promoting that they were going to announce something to do with a Holden product at 5:05pm this afternoon. Probably just that?

If what you've heard ando is the same as my mail, Tom Scullys father is Fev's first cousins half brother. And there is a clause in Fevs contract that says no relatives of his can play with him while he is at carlton. So we can only get Scully under the father son rule if we trade fev. That is the 'silver lining' and the 'something else' that is going with all this nonsense!!!
