Pettigrew would be the other main defender, has a bit of pace and could get Fev.....

Brogan and Deluca wont be a push over in the ruck either....

Port also like to have both ruckmen on the field at the same time.

One starts in the forward line, then rucks the forward half of the ground.

The other takes the centre bounce, then sits across half back, and rucks the defensive half of the ground.

So that'll help out their key defenders.

Fev should kick a bag... that is a shocking lineup Port have put in.

Deluca has got a lot to prove. Brogan hasn't played well since Primus retired (still better than our rucks).

He'll need to do well in the half he will play if he's going to manage that.

Both Nick Stevens, and Chad Cornes have told the media that their respective clubs will ignore the AFL's interchange rules; it it is in the interest of player safety.

Given that it's predicted to top 37 degrees in Adelaide tomorrow, that might be a wise idea.

I don't think I can ever support Carlton again.

Setanta is the Dean Jones of Carlton. :(

I didn't know they still exist.

My late grandpa is of Irish heritage so I am an Irish supporter. If Carlton don't make selections which agree with my Irish background, I'm going to find it difficult to continue supporting Carlton.

Also if Wiggins is dropped I'll be really pissed off. It will mean I can't support Carlton.

And right now I'm pissed off Hampson is the only Queenslander playing...and he hardly gets a run anyway. He better play 22 games this year or else I don't think I can support Carlton ever again.

And why don't we have more New South Welshmen in the team? If this continues, I won't be able to support Carlton.

Carlton is irrelevant.

It's where the players come from which is important.

You can scratch Austin and Bannister - they both trained with the Bullants today.

Setanta also trained but had one shoulder heavily strapped and was clearly favouring it.

Aisake also trained and stood out like a beacon.

Also noticed Jake Williams doing some special sprinting work and the kid actually looks quite a bit quicker.

I was going to create a new thread in asking this question, but instead hopefully it will get answered in here before 1pm (at work now  - then rocking up late to play cricket and then hopefully watching the football!)

What time exactly is the football on - to my understanding the match starts at 5.40 (in Adelaide?) and the telecast starts at 6 - presumably with the game starting on TV around 6.15 or something our time...

Point is, I'll probably finish cricket at 6ish and I want to zip home and watch (and hopefully record!) the football... I just want to know how late I'll be 'cos I'd love to be there to see K-Dogg get his first ruck hitout...

PLEASE if someone could answer this before 1pm I will love you long time.

(or not)

Sparky you are correct, Channel 10 are telecasting from 6 pm (melbourne time) and then at 8.30 they have the Brisbane/Scum game. But always allow an extra 20 minutes just in case it ends in a draw
