Its going to be a long year in Summer Bay with Mick taking the starring role.

Agree, its getting annoying. Nobody believes this "dance" MM is performing. Just shut up, negotiate the contract and get to work. Plenty to do for you during the off and pre-season.

But not before his daughter's national book tour and family holiday.

Hard gig this footy media thing.

I don't think the MM comments were inaccurate or offensive. Yes we had injuries but our key tall stocks do need bolstering.

Down back Jamo is a little too injury prone, still not sure of Hendo's best position and I think the jury is still out as far as Watto goes.

Up forward Waite is injury prone, Mitchell needs time, Levi can't kick straight and Hammer struggles to take a mark.

All can and will improve but I'd still be happy to see another key tall in defense and in attack.

Don't think MM was being harsh. I have no idea whether MM as coach will work or not but it seems like most are willing to write him off before he even starts.

We need to make some tough calls and I hope he does.

Personally I'd keep Thornton & Bower, put Henderson into the forwards group permanently, jettison Levi and see about getting Rowe on the rookie list. Davies & White wouldn't get their contracts renewed (and I would be thinking along the same lines with Duigan most likely). Then I'd shop Warnock around.

That then gives you an opportunity to secure one or two new talls in the draft.

You'd keep Thorton and Bower, but ditch Casboult and White? (and Duigan?).
I'll just simply say I don't agree with that.

It seems the CFC has to prove itself worthy enough for him to grace us with his presence - he doesn't hold that sort of status in my eyes

It's all part of the theatre with MM. It's part of the script they have thought out.
He gets asked the questions and he draws out the answer.

Heard a rumour today that monga Lloyd will be our our forwards coach next year. The source has a 50/50 strike rate.

I hope not, Monga Lloyd hates us and would do his best to sabotage us!!

Fantastic. Are Darren Bewick and Stephen Milne available too. What about Neil Balme?
We could ask Geoff Southby to come along and polish his boots.
If we're going to totally prostitute our club and make it the laughing stock of the league, lets finish the job!

This show is getting better by the day. Its like splitting up with your missus and watching her sleep with all your previous adversaries.

I vote we hold a press conference tomorrow and get Mick to pull his pants down and bend over. Then we can get Sticks and Swanny to take turns kissing his butt.
In between turns they can sing "Save our club Mick, save our club"

Do you really care that Lloyd played for Essendon*? Or you just don't rate Lloyd as a potential coach?

Personally, I couldn't give a shit where they come from, just so long as they're good at what they do.

Nah, I dont give a shit about Lloyd.
I just think the whole saga is @#$%&! embarrasing. We have a President saying he wouldnt have sacked the coach if Malthouse wasnt available. And then we have Malthouse sucking it all up in the media and letting them know he'll possibly consider talking to us some stage down the track.
Of course after his daughters book tour, his family holiday and his dobermans toe nail operation.

We look like desperate fools. This club just finds new ways to embarrass itself IMO.

Maybe he's on a sabotage mission? nah, not necessary :sly:
