I’m with BV.

Anyone who doesn’t want to be there can @#$%&! off.

People talk about culture and the board and blah blah blah…

If the players want a professional, successful club then it’s about time they acted professionally.

I’m really tired of our lack of success over the last 30 years but I’m more tired of wave after wave of unprofessional, half arsed, sooky players who expect it to just happen for them.

Curnow, TDK, Harry and Silvagni would get us a pretty handy bit of capital.

Considering this draft is supposed to be a bit poor maybe we keep one decent pick and use the rest for trading in good footballers who actually give a @#$%&! and put in 100% every week.

It’s notable that Hewett and Haynes have been our most consistent players this year and they didn’t start off around our culture.

Trade those four out (and any others who’d like to join them), retire Saad, Fantasia, Elijah and Docherty, get rid of some deadwood like Motlop and we’ll have a heap of list spots, a huge amount of cap space (conservatively $5 million from the eight I’ve named) and a chance to go hunting for quality players with good attitudes.

Even if it means ultimate success is a few years off it’s not happening with this current group of senior players anyway so let’s acknowledge it now and get on with building a proper team with a decent culture based on good leadership.

I’d offer Cripps up too if he’s open to it but at the very least give the captaincy to someone else.

I wonder if SOS will go into the Pies rooms for Jack's 150th game?

I wonder how people would feel if his name was Jack Williamson and he was just a regular player with no familial connection...

You'd probs be OK with a guy in his late 20s who's been injury prone over the last few years leaving.

Kind of ironic if he's leaving us to go to a team with a better chance of winning a flag than us. Given his dad's inability to draft midfielders is why we are where we are

If that was the case I'd still blame his dad, that C**t Nathan Williamson

Well, isn't that the point? He is a Silvagni.

That's like saying how would people feel if Carlton Football Club's name was actually the Gold Coast Suns, we wouldn't care would we?

Any way you look at it, it's SOS's fault.

So we cut our losses.

We get a 1st round compo pick for TDK
A 3rd round (?) compo pick for Silvagni
We trade McKay to Sydney for a first-rounder and a player
We trade Curnow to Gold Coast for two first rounders and a player
We trade Walsh to Geelong for a first rounder and a player
We trade Cerra to Richmond for a player
We trade Acres to whoever will have him for a player
We trade Motlop to Freo for a player

I mean... nothing means anything, so who gives a shit.

Let's start again. Make Jagga Smith captain.

Get rid of all the entitled Silvagnis, thinking the club owes them everything.

Then strip every picture, accolade at the club so their existence is vanished.

Over SOS and Jack. Jack is no different to his father. And his other brother. They are all bitter and twisted. (like me now)

How dare he go to our arch enemy, this is done out of spite and hate.

And Collingwood will be loving our demise and one of our so called royalty deffecting to them.

How sad we have become.

And on top of that a player leaving us to go to St Shitna. Wow the depths we have gone too. St Shitna used to be our dumping ground for players at retirement age. To leave a big Club that still has big crowds even when we are shit, to play in front of 20,000 people.

If we use the picks wisely it wouldnt be bad, but who trusts that we would use the picks wisely ? I certainly dont.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

You know, I meant to just write William, but clearly my phone is used to me raging at Nathan Williamson!

Clearly a toxic culture
From the top down to our leadership group
Cripps must go
Why
He is the captain
He has reached his peak
A liability on defence
Been there over 10 years doesn’t know the difference
This club needs a major circuit breaker
Look at Melbourne
Petracca and Oliver wanted out and Melbourne kept them
Not worth as much now
Cripps has been fantastic
A great player but time stops for nobody
Trade him while he is worth something
I still believe a Walsh Newman lead leadership would work
We finally have recruited some good kids
We don’t want them carltonized
As for SOJ clearly he has seen enough
Don’t blame him going
Move on

at first, its confronting to think Silvagni wont be with the club.

but if the offer is true ... 600k for 4 years ... and its not enough ... then thanks for your efforts Jack (as painful as it is)

if we where getting 20+ games a year from him, then id be more than happy to pay more, but if we can only get half a season (or less) out of him every year, then no thanks. we need to stop paying players that cant consistently remain on the park ... it just has to stop.

3/4 of the season is a minimum pass (18 games) ... that stance to be applied to any player that is consistently injured (i.e. williams, mcgovern etc..)

** allowances made for freak injuries i.e. Jagga Smith

It will be their club in 2 years time.
Get rid of any underachievers or dissenters now who don't want to be a part of it. 4 years at 600k is more than Jack is worth to us. If that's not good enough, on your bike. When SOS got the arse, Jack openly showed his disdain to the club. If he hasn't got over it, get him out of the joint before it infects others.
He can go join his mate Houston (and trust me, we dodged a bullet there)

Personally, I hope the club is ruthless. Any dissenters, sooks or those who are looking for problems instead of solutions, get them out as well. It's a small step backwards to take a big leap forward.

WE dodged an $800K pa bullet.

No relaxing on the couches on Monday night, as Jordan Lewis raised an awkward question for the boys.

Is Dan Houston on the edge of being dropped at Collingwood?

“How hard is it as a coach knowing what you have given up (in a trade) to leave him out of a finals campaign?,” Lewis suggested before listing six Pies who need to return from injury.

“There are going to be some tough decisions, I genuinely think he is playing for his spot in a finals team.”

This is the bit I don't get, it's very likely JSOS will end up playing VFL at the pies, he is pretty much guaranteed AFL games at Carlton if he can stay fit.

He must really have a big problem with the club to leave.

He'd get games at Pois, they still haven't replaced Murphy. They're still giving games to Frampton, it's one of their few weak spots and I'm thrilled that we're letting them have a Silvagni to fix it!

This has Malthouse years, chilling vibes about it.

Players leaving/traded out...

Voss is sacked mid 2026...

Another 66 game rebuild...

I have never cared less about losing any player.

Can't endure a season like this, rather lose work shit players than highly paid supposedly good ones.

Team is so broken. Blow it up.
