Sing it with me guys...

We are the Navy Blues
we are the old dark navy Blues
we're the team that never lets you down
we're the only team all Carlton knows.

With all the champions
they like to send us
we'll keep our ends up
And they'll know that they've been playing
against the famous old dark Blues.

Impressed you're up Sandy. For those of you who don't appreciate Sandrad's and my commitment, it's 6.30am on the east coast of the US. I trust it's not as cold in SC than it is in New York (snowy and wet).

Not yet. 3AW seem to be broadcasting until 11pm, hopefully with some news from the rooms.

3AW suggesting that Wizzer Cup guide is a better sign for the following year. Not sure how that works, but time will tell I guess. We have to be a shoe in for the 8 now, surely.

Bret Thornton was just interviewed on Triple M. Bret upbeat and thinks it might be his medial ligament. That would be great news if that's the case. He's having an MRI tomorrow to confirm. I will pull out the rosary and starting saying my hail marys between now and then.

Just interviewed on MMM

Strained the medial ligament on his right knee. Said Prendegast was going for a tackle and fell over his knee.

Will probably miss a month at the worst, but it's too early to say.

Well, I've just come in to have some pain au chocolat for lunch, around -4C outside, but it's obviously hot in here!

Now let's hope we can bring some of this form to the real deal.

Great game by the boys...was very proud of the way they played, were desperate and even when the Eafles came back you could see they were still working hard. That game plan just refused to crack under the pressure. Thats the best we've played so far.

The sugar coaters weren't sugar coating afterall...well done, your training reports proved to be accurate.

I could seriously give a special mention to everyone here tonight because they all contributed for the time they were on the ground, but here re the ones I really wanted to make to some of the lessor lights.

Livo - his best game so far. Lynch is HUGE. Unlucky free in the first quarter. Yes it was there, but it was unlucky and the contact was irrelevant. Won't be paid in the H&A season. Outmarked Lynch in the last quarter and now takes on responsibility for our #1 key defender. Hopefully tonight gives him the confidence to do this.

Prenda - Huge 9 pointer to give us the breathing space. Was so happy for it to be Prenda that kicked the goal.

McGrath - thought he was excellent again tonight, certainly in our best 22.

Great to see Ratts presenting meals to the players also.

Well done Blues and the lid is officially off now. There will certainly be letdowns during the year, but the light is there I think we're a really strong chance to make the 8 and possibley finish around that 4-5 mark.
